I've finished series 2 after rewatching series 1.
I really enjoyed it and hope they make a third series. I think there's a lot of potential and want to know what happens next. I liked how each series had one legal main case alongside all the personal storylines. I think that covering coercive control this series was A Good Thing. I liked the Goldie story in s1 too.
Spoiler territory. .. I really liked what they did with Nathan in series 2, my sympathy was always with Hannah but I liked Nathan this series while in s1 I found him a bit insipid and didn't mind if they split up at the end of s1. I want them to make a third series and for Hannah and Nathan to get back together. I'm not sure about the storyline with Zander's love life. I found it ridiculous that he'd care about Nina's opinion. To get to his position he must be ruthless and as he'd already said, he couldn't be with someone who made him look foolish (or words to that effect). He basically told Christie to leave before he was pushed to protect his firm. I think it would have been more true to the character for him to have called off the wedding (and also not to have planned to marry someone he barely knows.) The Nina kiss at the end seemed ridiculous to me. Also Nina needs a good talking to and some consequences for her actions, she just opens her mouth and lets it all out doesn't she? Telling Christie about Hannah's abortion, plus the other incidents. At least she is consistent.
I liked James this series, like Nathan we saw more than the one dimensional character from s1, like when he told Rose to stop whining, she was so self absorbed.
I really liked the location shots, some were familiar and London liked great. Also I had house envy for Hannah's house, I don't usually particularly notice that stuff. I liked that Hannah etc had their own wardrobes and wore their work clothes on rotation.
