We're all just gathered around and hoping Dev gets shot.

It's Christmas on the Cobbles and time for festive cheer.
The greatest gift that we might get is that Michelle will dissapear.

Just watching on catch up & Robert has just been shot. I can't understand how a runt like Gary is able to overpower bigger blokes. Why didn't Ali just flick him off? Rita has sounded very slurred lately and I can't stop looking at Liz's plastic face.

Hmph. Not much joy in the past 2 days episodes. No humour at all (or did I miss it?). Corrie used to do the switch from humour to sadness really well, but no longer.

Only surprise was Robert gettjng shit and dying. And now Gary's a fecking hero according to everyone. Hmph.

We all knew Shona had to get written out but it will be sad if she dies.
Sensible ending for Robert and Derek. They were going nowhere and won't be missed.
How is Gary a hero? Didn't he use Sarah's toddler as a shield?

Think Sarah thought he had run out at his own risk and grabbed the toddler. Sickening that he is now a hero. As for Shona in that box ! What a daft storyline.

Derek has a thing with Izzy but turned out to be married. He’s been borrowing money from loan shark Gary. He’s now split from his wife but wanted more money from Gary to take his children on holiday for Christmas. Somehow he ended up telling people he owned half of Underworld but I’m unsure if this was true or not as Gary owns it. To be honest I find him a bit of a non-character.

He fired a shot through the pub door to prove to Gary the gun was working. Robert was on the other side of the door but nobody realised he was there.

Adam proposing to Sarah really annoyed me. I hate “life or death” proposals. It’s like theyre just doing it because they think one or both will die and they won’t have to go through with it. Grin I mean what possible worst moment could there be to actually propose? Both in fear for their lives, a rushed proposal and rushed acceptance. No joy, no time to enjoy the moment. Just “yeah course I will now shush” Grin and it’s not as if you can get married before one of you dies so what’s the point? If you want to marry her ask her after the event when you’re both safe and well and can celebrate. so stupid.
