Rita's in the floor, Derek's in a bind, Gemma's had babies and is going out her mind.
Nick is grimacing nicely, and Sarah's forgot the plot.
And we're all just gathering around and hoping Dev gets shot.

Abby is really annoying me lately. 5 minutes ago she was infatuated with Ray, now he’s proved a wrong’un she’s suddenly realised she’s in love with kev. Sally rightly worried about impact on jack, Abby doesn’t really get to be outraged. Her history is completely non child friendly- she’s had her own twins removed who she hasn’t mentioned in months. Completely forgotten about them. She’s just stolen and burned out a car because a man was mean to her, But yeah, sure, she’d never put jack at risk.

She is very unreliable, I think Kev deserves better. He's been on the Street so long.
I feel sorry for Jawsif too, losing his mum and ending up in Chesney's house of horror. I feel sorry for all the children except Ope, she rocks.

Poor Joseph. And Gemma. I felt for her.
Abbi did actually burn a car. So she is in the wrong, not that she, Kev or even Sally seem to admit it!

I think Paul and Gemma are undergoing personality transplants. Abi sort of did, but is now bad again.
All the Bessie Street age kids are having a difficult time with stupid parents, I keep forgetting about Oliver and Harry, and the Dev kids seem to have run off with Summer maybe to visit Todd. I wish Jason would return, he's not dead I don't think?

I'm assuming they're changing Abbi's character, as soaps do a lot.
Starts off bad, within six months all forgotten.
That said, I like her and think her and Kiev are good together, they could be a good comedy pairing with Sally and Tim too.

A friend who watches has a theory about the builder/gay storyline.
NOT a spoiler.
She thinks that perhaps the builder Dad hooked up with the new gay restaurant guy at some point (so memorable I've no idea what their names are!)
I'm not sure, but they've had dafter storylines.
The only theory I have is that Ali is trying out his blow drying skills to impress Maria, and that's why his hair gets more ridiculous with each episode.

I love Abbi's changed character now...think she is good fun, trying to better herself and really vulnerable - but still explosive (literally, the car!) and as impulsive as ever. I love her scenes. Also laughed so much at Gemma and Chesney's ad campaign video this week. Brilliant, so deliberately awkward 😂

Yeah so weird how Todd and Jason stopped existing but no one cares. Not even their mum when she realised her husband was a serial killer. I mean, I'd still be questioning where they are now tbh?

Can't see why Ryan and Gary seem such good mates now, when Gary beat him up badly a few months ago. Past storylines seem to just disappear.

Must admit, some of Corrie's characters are really getting on my nerves. Namely Gemma and Beth (fishwives) and Maria, with her desperation and constipated Zippy face.

Ryan is exceptionally stupid, so will be useful to Gary in some future scam. It would make sense if he was really Michelle's child, but super intelligent doctor Ali is her biological child. How did that happen? Nature v nurture is a fascinating topic!
Was Craig on the phone during the search for Jawsiff? Beth has forgotten about him and Kirky, have they gone off on a lad's holiday?

Yes, good question - where are Craig and Kinky? I wonder if the episodes showing now were filmed when Andrew Whyment was in the jungle.

I don’t understand why Ray having sex with Abi will make him drop the charges? It’s a ridiculous story.

Agree it’s ridiculous. Ray will doublecross her. He’ll probably film her having sex with him and send it to kevin.

And why has the lady barrister become a lady solicitor, surely Abi should be dealing with Imran or Adam? I suppose they are busy doing Ken's conveyancing.

Yes, the Abi story line is just rehash of Anna , they are running out of stories, much like Disney and their live action versions of cartoons.
