The right result - David's a good baker even if he's a bit intense personally

I'm glad David won. He deserved it. I loved his friendship with Michael and Henry and the girls throughout the show. I thought he was unlucky not to have won star baker some weeks and I thought judges (especially Paul) were a bit down on him and over critical.

I usually love the what they've done since the final bit but it was so quick I couldn't see what was what.

I shall look forward to Junior Bake Off. But I didn't live this year as much as others. And even though I didn't live Steph I was sorry to see her fail in the final week.

I suspect Steff may be a recovering eating disorder sufferer? Hence the euphemisms.

Gutted for steff. She has been consistently fantastic throughout, has taken risks that have paid off; such a shit time for it to fall apart

The what-they’ve-done-since made me laugh. These guys have met up and had fun; these guys think the others are a bunch of boring fuckers and they prefer to hang out with cats or motorbikes.

I’m pleased David won, I know he didn’t manage star baker, but he seemed more knowledge about various bakes, even if he did sometimes cock up his flavours.

We also have to thank one of the camera operators for a lovely shot tonight!

From the first episode I could have sworn they said he was some kind of international man of fitness - my friend and I thought it was hilarious
Have we been laughing away at this all this time and getting it totally wrong?!
Anyway, was gutted for Steph, she was my clear favourite going into today but everything seemed to go wrong for her.
David was a very worthy winner, he did well and kept his cool.
We didn’t ever warm to Alice.

Michael was the fitness instructor. David was very into healthy baking.
