the thing is meringues /pavlovas need to be allowed to cool down slowly .
well I like the look of the pudding , but its still not baking is it ?

At least the desserts look tempting and like something I'd want to make!

Is pannacotta baking?

And so many of then have never made it?

I just hear at least 2 haven't made panna cotta - it is a particular favourite here at chez book . But as I say , its not baking

I know Chardonnay - it begs the question , what have they baked/made ?

I do think it’s bullshit when they criticise them for eg the jelly not being set. Surely that’s because they didn’t give them enough time?!

Number - I will be making it for Christmas - I have puddings and cakes to make first!!!

If Priya doesn't go this week I shall be very, very cross. She should have gone 2 weeks ago and had produced a disappointing meringue cake and has come last in the technical (even though that round is apparently meaningless now). It's bloody Stacy all over again.

Off topic....but Sandis shirt is HUGE!

Next week make ice cream and sprinkles but make the chocolate sauce from scratch.

I will need Sandi's shirt for the day I eat all of @bookbook 's lovely Christmas pie...

Nearest I have ever done to a bombe is Baked Alaska .. I had forgotten how good it tasted when I made one last year .

ha Number - it is huge - made to do about 12-16 portions ...

I think the characters of the contestants are all too similar this year. Also I’d prefer less exotic creativity and more proper baking

well I can't take this series of GBBO at all seriously - I am not invested in any of the bakers , and the challenges are rubbish

Hence the need for the shirt @bookbook
