I thought she looked quite uncomfortable on Extra Slice, I'd guess she's more at home actually doing something.

That's it, @captain. She DID look uncomfortable, slightly. Rather self-deprecating in a sweet way.

I watched Extra Slice. I really thought Noel was being funny and warm when joking about going out - not unkind.

I thought Rosie looked uncomfortable too - I think she is either quite naturally shy or thought the programme was a bit silly.

I miss Mary to be fair !

There is no way that Annika eats much cake, at the moment anyway!!!! Those doughnuts looked and obviously were revolting

If the doughnuts were unsweetened they wouldn't be much different to a filled roll but the idea of them is disgusting.

This lot are nowhere in the same league as Rahul or Kim Joy. This year’s flavours do not seem to be so creative. I remember being astonished at some of the past pairings and thinking that I should try to combine different flavours (such as chocolate and fennel: crazy, but it works). The most interesting combination this year seems to be Rosie’s lemon pastry. Loved Rosie. I hope David or Alice wins but I suspect that it will be Steph. I don’t think there will be a cookbook.

I disagree Doctor IMO Some of the bakers used too many flavours and also mixed them with nuts and alcohol etc. Creativity is all very well BUT it has to taste good.

Yes the ads are really annoying!

Contestant from last year has publicly slated Love Productions for lack of after care and has had to delete tweets and has been admonished for tweeting about favouritism. They are on contract for 2 years after the show so can't say anything bad.

Was it dan @Spotsbeforemyeyes he’s very outspoken on Twitter & has complained about how he was edited on the show. He said he was having a family crisis at the time & had to deal with all the on line negativity without support.

Yes kit19 he got into trouble with Love productions. I suspect he'll have plenty to say next year once his contract is up.

I was watching the earlier series and there was dodgy camerawork but a better feel to the show in one scene a contestant had dropped a cake you saw paul Hollywood getting in there helping pick it up telling them how to rescue it you also saw him and mary offering advice and explaining why things went wrong it just had an overall feel good factor

This year its clear steff is going to win unless David finds something spectacular I dont even know the poor third ones name she doesnt seem to be able to make an impression on camera they haven't given her personality air time it's just been the steffi show

I can only think we've been watching a different programme slippery - Alice seems to have had lots of camera time compared to Steph.

Which Dan was it? Is there anything left online? It must be horrible to have yourself edited to look a certain way

@joyfullittlehippo Henry and Michael are together?! It was rumored Henry and Alice were together wasn’t it??

I thought Michael was married - must have zoned out and completely misheard a reference!
