Yes it’s definitely a strange idea. It’s supposed to be patisserie week isn’t it? The showstopper doesn’t seem very themed does it.

Agree the whole fish tank case is a waste. But they've done bloody well, considering all the time's sugar has gone wrong on the professionals

I don't really understand the point of this challenge - create sugar glass boxes and then place "patisserie" inside. Yet David get criticized för his layer cake being .. well.. cakey - while Steff gets praised for her layer cake Confused

For none of the designs were the glass cases an integral design element - so were really just wasted food as a design feature
