New series on now.

OP posts:
PinkDaydreams · 23/10/2019 09:42

I can’t remember seeing the speed dates with Ioan? Seems a but unfair that he gets only one episode whereas all the others seem to have had three episodes. Very rushed.

PinkDaydreams · 23/10/2019 10:01

Katie’s stunning! She’s so glam and always looks lovely.

Alpacamystuff · 23/10/2019 10:13

The boots are Fairfax and favour I have a pair, the fabric is so lovely I get the stroking😂

DogAndCatPerson · 23/10/2019 14:26

Right. Last instalment on catch up.

George the vet still stringing the two very sweet girls along. Liv’s (the Nottingham nurse) male friend didn’t look too convinced by George. The kiss was repulsive. “I think she enjoyed it”. He’s a funny combination of shy and full of himself. It’s like he hasn’t had any attention from girls and the minute he’s got some he’s running wild with it and convinced he’s some sort of stud Hmm.

I have to say, I think the horse dentist sounds like a pain in the arse. I think Neil might be a bit too nice for her. She’s very high maintenance and a bit chilly. She hasn’t had a relationship more than a few months and has never lived with a man before, yet she’s looking for a husband and a father for her kids? Big leap. Massive leap.

DogAndCatPerson · 23/10/2019 14:38

Ioan seems lovely. What do the girls do about the loo? Bushes or are they expected to use the caravan toilet? I agree a bit disappointing re missing the speed dating bit. I wonder if something went on there and that’s why they didn’t show it.

George and the Podiatrist look like siblings Shock.

DogAndCatPerson · 23/10/2019 15:37

Katie is marvellous, cracking legs! 700 mile round trip for a one night stay Shock Glad she found someone in the end though.

The horse dentist wants the moon on a stick Hmm. The art of compromise seems to have totally passed her by.

Ioan is a pretty rubbish host. He’s a jokey flirt and I don’t feel like that’s going over terribly well with all of the girls. They are right in what they say about him not making enough time, the girls are better off out of it. Another one who can’t compromise.

So, George really does think he’s the prize. “It’s a horrible situation for both of them to be in” Hmm. I think he chose right in the end. They’re both a bit drippy. I think Erin the Podiatrist was a bit headstrong as well as looking like his sister.

Hermione and the dairy farmer have gone very big, very quickly. I don’t know if that’s a recipe for disaster.

I think that maybe something happened off screen with David and Michael (possibly a kiss or even sleeping together) and that's why he chose him over luke but then regretted it.

I couldn't believe it that Peter, one of the guys that had a speed date with Victoria, sent in his Match.com profile photo - I recognised him instantly - he had messaged me a few times when I was on it and after a couple of messages he started saying really inappropriate things and I ignored him. Whenever I was back on it he would hassle me again but I would never reply and if I changed my photo he would send the 'first' message again. He was obviuosly trying it on with loads of women and he would change his location a lot too! She made a good call not picking him!

DogAndCatPerson · 24/10/2019 07:54

I think you’re right re David the Dairy farmer.

Shock re Match man, voyager. Which one was he in the speed dates?

voyager50 · 24/10/2019 11:09

It was the first one she met - Peter the IT guy

Inkanta · 24/10/2019 15:43

Ahhhh loved that series!

voyager50 · 24/10/2019 18:20

I agree with all the posts about the boots guy - it really was creepy the way he stroked them and rolled his eyes in ecstacy - it reminded me of the foot-fetish shoe salesman in Sex and the City who came when he fondled the shoes on Charlotte's feet!

AlessandroVasectomi · 24/10/2019 23:16

I too wondered why we didn’t see George telling Erin that she wasn’t his choice. She seemed to have taken it as read that she would win. George was so awkward about delivering unwelcome news, I can only imagine how he squirmed as he gave Erin the sack.

I felt so sorry for Grace. I thought she was a lovely girl, but just had no idea (until it was too late) that you have to invest time in relationships to see whether they will work out. In my own case, going back more years than I care to remember - oh all right then, 44 - when I found someone I liked, nothing would keep me away. When I decided to marry DW it was because I wanted to be with her all the time, so I thought the best thing to do was to marry her.

Inkanta · 25/10/2019 13:26

Yes I George and Erin's did look so similar - like siblings. I was kind of glad we didn't see him break the news, - I sensed she would have been quite upset. I thought Liv was the right one though, - he seemed softer with her and like he wanted to melt into her and kiss her. Smile

mnahmnah · 25/10/2019 15:10

I didn’t see series 1 and really want to watch it now. But iPlayer hasn’t got it which is strange and annoying!

Dizzywizz · 25/10/2019 20:22

Yeah @mnahmnah I want to watch series 1 now!

PumpkinPandaandBlackTurtleCat · 27/10/2019 12:11

I want to watch series one now too - do you think we could start a petition? Grin
