Just caught up having been away. I think they both picked the best people for them Grin. Loved the postman's face when the young farmers took him on x

Kiki275 · 28/09/2019 14:12

@Peaseblossom22 I agree with you to a certain extent, but I do think grace is being quite realistic. I've married a farmer and don't actively farm or come from a farming background. This is fine if you're already quite local and/or have family/friends in the area. These guys would need to potentially move 100's of miles if it worked out, leaving so much behind. It could be so lonely for them with her working all hours and I do think she realises that x

Virgo1958 · 28/09/2019 17:52

I also thought it was mean to invite 4 men for the older lady and choose 3 so just 1 is left out. Not fair. Having seen this before last year hardly any of the relationships worked out even though they looked promising at the time. Decided I would never go to a young farmers' event ever - looks awful.

NoisingUpNissan · 28/09/2019 18:56

They just looked like a bunch of yobbos on the sauce, and I'm from a farming background so know what they're about!

PinkDaydreams · 28/09/2019 21:09

I wonder if any of the couples from last year are still together?

Kiki275 · 28/09/2019 21:44

@PinkDaydreams I think only the young lad from near Lancaster found someone. We saw him at the local auctions recently but I didn't have the balls to ask... so curious though x

PinkDaydreams · 29/09/2019 07:46

They should do a follow up program to see what they’re all up to!

theliverpoolone · 29/09/2019 10:59

There was an update programme where that farmer with the blonde lady had dumped her, after them having met each other's families and her virtually planning the wedding, she was that keen. No explanation as to why he'd dumped her - but he'd never seemed that committed to a proper relationship, while she was all hearts and flowers and had over-romanticised it all, I thought.

PinkDaydreams · 29/09/2019 14:02

@theliverpoolone I haven’t seen that! I’ll have to try find it on the iplayer

Flowersonthewall · 01/10/2019 21:25

Anyone watching?

Wolfcub · 01/10/2019 21:32

Yes, me

EmmaC78 · 01/10/2019 21:32

I'm watching :) There definitely seems to be a bit of a spark between Grace and the hobby farmer.

Flowersonthewall · 01/10/2019 21:38

The gay dairy farmer I think Andrew isn't going to be picked!

Wolfcub · 01/10/2019 21:39

I think the last two fellas will get picked

Flowersonthewall · 01/10/2019 21:40

Michael is lovely don't think Sal is going to last long with all the cows

Wolfcub · 01/10/2019 21:44

Aw poor lady that’s a sad story

Wolfcub · 01/10/2019 21:51

Dairy farmer seems a bit desperate

mnahmnah · 01/10/2019 22:23

I’m from the dairy farmer’s neck of the woods and there’s every reason for him to be desperate. Not much of a gay scene round there 😂

I’ve driven past Katie’s farm enough times and it’s nowhere near as desolate as they make out. Not far at all to some decent towns and right by the M6. The dairy farmer however really is a long way from civilisation!

I now live near Grace and i’m loving her story. I work near her farm

IwantedtobeEmmaPeel · 01/10/2019 23:48

Every time people kept saying how desolate and remote Katie’s farm was I kept thinking, but that’s the M6 behind you. I think Katie is amazing, she is so fit and glamorous, I really hope she finds somebody who can keep up with her.

MoobaaMoobaa · 02/10/2019 20:16

I think Katie would have been better with John, I think he's a slow burner.

The guy she's gone for is player, Johns a stayer. Grin

Kiki275 · 02/10/2019 20:26

Just catching up. Surprised at the guys 3rd choice Sal, but I like Luke. Can't see Sal being a country boy somehow. Katie's choice David.... he lives a long way away, could definitely prove a challenge x

mnahmnah · 03/10/2019 17:54

I can’t believe some of them, including Sal, apply for a date in the first place. So many clearly don’t understand the first thing about rural living. Sal doesn’t like animals! But wants to date a farmer?!

derxa · 03/10/2019 18:59

I really liked Scots bloke I wonder who he is. We're Lanarkshire farmers

Kiki275 · 03/10/2019 19:22

@mnahmnah I totally agree! Also, they apply from the opposite end of the country too, like the guy from Milton Keynes last year who the girl from the Borders chose.... then decided he couldn't move that far. Why apply in the 1st place and ruin her genuine chances with someone potentially more suitable?x

mnahmnah · 03/10/2019 19:32

I didn’t watch last series. Going to try and find it on catchup
