Late arrival to the Peaky Blinders party

Finally got round to watching this, quite enjoying so far although I struggled with the accents initially.
However Tom Hardy who I usually like is driving me mad, he seems so hammy and channelling his Bronson character mated with the Krays a bit too much.
Does he get better?

Well I've just started watching again from series 1 and already on series 2 it's like watching it for the first time again it's bloody awesome my favourite ever series.... so far!

I think I've blanked some bits out totally lost with the Micheal/unborn baby thing and the black cat thing!! I think I must have been day dreaming about Tommy!
I was so shocked when I found out Finn and Micheal were brothers but once you know you can soooo tell!! The actress who plays May is married to Tom Hardy in real life..... lucky lady!

Yes - they did the same with Atlantic Broadway. Got rid of a popular character too early. Btw - if you're enjoying PB, you'd probably like AB. A sort of period Sopranos, set in the same era. Has that actress from Trainspotting in it. Can't remember her name.

I am new to the PB party too. Just started watching Series 1. I have had to skip many posts on this thread as it is a bit spoilery for one titled such.

I tried to watch it when it originally came out and couldn't see the excitement about it. This time I am persevering and it's growing on me...

@AnyFucker you’ll be so glad you have persevered. DH and I stopped and started PB about 3 times before we finally made a commitment and got past the first episode. Now we’re completely hooked!

Just to be clear, their only showing the next episode, on iplayer, aren't they? I can only find 2 episodes... someone up thread, made it sound like the whole series was there

@Whatthefunk they are only releasing the episodes week by week. I think the two together this week was because they showed episodes one and two on Sunday and Monday night.

I have watched all four series in the last week Blush. Almost didn't bother and wasn't that keen at all on the first ep in series one. But I persevered and was gripped.
But I am now struggling with the violence tbh. It's brutal

PB got downloaded onto our sky box my mistake and DH and I thought we would give it a try - OMG!! I have watched S1 and 2 eps of S2. Where have I been the last few years - it is brilliant. DH hasn't been around/in the mood for any new eps so I have been re-watching S1 and missed a few bits (mainly as CM speaks very softly sometimes and I got confused with names and who was who). Am hoping we can watch a few more of S2 tonight.
