I absolutely loved that scene in the adoption centre where the little girl sang that completely inappropriatr song to Fig and Caputo. Their faces just lit up and you just knew she was going to bring out the absolute best in both of them. for Taystee's sake if nothing else

I really enjoyed it actually. Had me in tears a few times...the kids in the courtroom and doggetts funeral.

I like the way fig finally redeemed herself by giving the lady her abortion pill.

I sorta hoped Piper would stay with Zelda as I do notice Alex likes broken people but it was nice ending anyway.

I wouldn’t have noticed Pornstache with the child if I hadn’t had read it here.

Heartbreaking about Red and we knew Lorna was never fully there in the first place.

Also nice to see Luscheck finally man up and take responsibility.

Loved seeing Blanca win her case and then go and move anyway just to be with Diablo. But then it was on her terms.

Nice to see Nicky take on reds role.

I’m going to miss this series but there wasn’t much else they could go really

In the last few mins of the last episode, he was the guy sat on the kitchen floor with the baby (Daya and Bennets baby) playing drums with pots and pans. Which was kind of sweet, as he knows the baby isn't his. So I'm guessing Pornstache and his mum still have her. Really lovely 😭😳

I have mixed feelings about this season.

I was actually pleased they decided to highlight what's going on with ICE and also the storylines about how things are really stacked against people leaving prison.

I did feel some of the storylines were a bit clumsy and obviously just there to make a point.

The ending made me sad, mostly because there were so many great characters there that were just dropped. All those actors lost their jobs at the end of season 5 and that was so shoddy of them. It seemed hypocritical of them to make out they were this big happy family.

I agree. I know that the nature of prison is that people come and go, and you can lose touch irrevocably and without warning, but the veering away from many of the long-standing characters for the last two seasons wasn’t entirely successful in my view.

I cried when I realised Tiffany had passed her GED, and again at the very end.

It's true. They could have followed what happened to them in Ohio. Seeing Boo at the end made me realise she has no idea about Tiffany and they were pretty close for a while.

A new show (well its on season 4) from the producer of oitnb following a ladies wrestling team in the 1980s. Not as good as oitnb but its quite funny and has some good characters.

Does anyone know who was referencing whom with the restaurant bathroom/ bloody nose scene in Fleabag Series 2? Both shows came out within a couple of months of each other. I even watched an actors Roundtable thing which NL and PWB were both on, in the hope they'd clear up that mystery for me. But no joy. It really is uncanny how similar those scenes are.

I got the impression with NL and PWB it was like that girl at school where you have lots of mutual friends between you, but who's almost too much like you to click properly - although I could be wrong. Worth a watch anyway.

However what stood out for me was how much I really liked Fig. My opinion of her changed slowly over the seasons, but this season I really loved her character. sShe lied so that she could get the pill for the women who was raped.
I also loved the end when they went to the adoption place and fell in love with the little girl who was singing the rude song. It was a little reminiscent of taystee flash back as a little girl.

I really dislike Black Cindy. I’m watching season two now, and the have her back story and why she was in prison, and I really don’t like her.

Also Vee, so manipulative and awful.

Cindy seems pretty damaged as a person. I thought her bailing on her daughter like that again just showed how she's missing some key component of 'character'. She'd rather live in a tent than even try to be a half decent mother (or friend, for that matter). And yet when she and Taystee were at their peak they seemed to balance each other and complement each other. Taystee's warmth made Cindy want to be better and Cindy's toughness pragmatism helped Taystee survive at 'camp'. In the early days. I haven't rewatched tho so i may change my mind.

I actually liked her at the start, I felt sorry for her when Red wouldn't give her food and I liked her when she started the protest with Blanca.

But since she got let out she's unbearable, Moaning that she has to work at her rich daddy's firm and rooming with her bro and his wife while there struggling with a new born. Meanwhile the detainees would give there left tit to be in her position lol 😂

She was always a bit of a spoilt little rich girl but it was worse in the last series, and now Alex is having an affair with that dumb CO who previously she was really awkward with!?

Joe really started to win me over during the last few seasons - once he and Fig got it together properly, I fell in love with them as a couple. She's wonderful in a very complex/not very obvious way
