Loved series 1. Watched the first episode of series 2 and couldn’t understand a word of the mumbling, what was going on, and the. The weird recasting of the main villain lady. Haven’t watched any since.

In s1. Faith was on ml and Evan at firm but firm wasn’t doing well. So Evan decided to do some moonlighting for the Glynns after he got their daughter off the murder charge of killing paddy - they offered him work to donto do their drug money deals - he wanted out

Don’t ask me to explain end of s2 😂😂

I thought the ending was the televisual equivalent of when you're writing a story at primary school and run out of time so just put 'and then I woke up and it was all a dream'. So many unresolved threads. I feel like the writers didn't know how to wrap it up and just thought of a cop-out.

I thought at the end that Faith looked down the camera - a la last episode of Fleabag, which I took to mean that it was the last series. Not sure how it could get any more bonkers and confusing anyway.

Oh and I hadn't realised I was watching the last episode until the secretary got together with Tom - and then I realised they were tying up loose ends. Really clumsy and clichéd.

I binge watched with my mouth hanging open in horrified fascination. .
Evan looks like a chubby 1920s ventriloquist doll.
Faith seems to be on the verge of a breakdown at all times and just randomly screams words and lies down wherever she is.
Her best mate never goes home and drinks all her wine and she leaves her little children in the care of a homeless drug addict?
It was all very weird.
Old Gael was Imelda Quirke from the Comittments wasn't she?
It was a bit like Dr Foster in terms of strange ideas about what women's lives are like plus peculiar acting. I don't think I'll watch a third series..
