Just started episode 1 of Series 2.

I'll watch this series for her hair alone. But for God's sake, please remove the heels. Definitely written, produced or directed by a man.

For her hair in a good way or a bad way?

Her hair is terrible. I really noticed it in the third episode. Dry and so badly dyed.

Anyone else a bit confused by what's going on? Especially all the Gail Reardon stuff?

Eve Myles is now the Exec Producer I noticed (from credits).

The foot/leg shots are getting on my nerves. Shoehorned in, no pun intended.

I can't stand her husband's character. A big old potato of a man. I prefer the slightly soiled Steve.

Is the actor playing Steve dying his hair? It looks quite harsh against his skin.

Possibly. He was in the Stella series too. He was a bit younger then but I think his hair was a softer red then.

And I agree Evan is completely unlikable.

I watch it for the lovely Steve Baldini. He’s just so swoon. He’s the polar opposite of the awful Evan.

Steve also makes an appearance in Chernobyl (the actor not the character obviously) though I can't remember his hair colour in that.

I enjoyed it although didn't follow it entirely. A few things that confused me:

• had the policewoman been demoted? If so, why?
• where was the brother in law policeman?
• where did the black policeman come from and what was he up to?
• was Faith's husband really working undercover?
• what had actually happened to Evan in series 1? Why did he actually go missing?
• what was going on with Gael Riordan?
• steve Baldini seemed a different character this time (less hard man and more go-for)

The welsh policewoman needs to stop dying her hair navy

It's utter shite has eve myles ever played a character who doesn't swill wine, shout and is in possession of incredible sexual allure

Got bored of series one about two thirds of the way through. Shame, because I had high hopes for it!

Really enjoyed series two

Brienne, to be fair it sounds as if the entire thing, series one and two went right over your head. Are you sure you were watching it?

I'll have a go at some of the questions, and maybe anyone who knows more can add?

• "had the policewoman been demoted? If so, why?"

Yes, she made some reference to Faith to 'we both suffered' which I took to mean she'd been demoted. Can't remember what for but she had definitely done something wrong in series 1.

• "where was the brother in law policeman?" - yes I agree, where was he in series 2?

• "where did the black policeman come from and what was he up to?" - on secondment from London, aiming to bring down Gael.

• "was Faith's husband really working undercover? " who knows?!

• "what had actually happened to Evan in series 1? Why did he actually go missing? " he told Faith that 'Parry' (who this?) had phoned to say that he'd be arrested that morning. He'd ended up in A & E but after that I'm not entirely sure.

• what was going on with Gael Riordan?

Another who knows?!

Possibly, although not wholly reformed!
