It's Sally Wainwright so I shall give it a go but the CGI and cinematography is annoying me and - as usual- the sound mixing is poor.

This looks the kind of drama the late Victoria wood would have parodied in her sketch shows in the 90s!

I was looking forward to this but actually think it's quite shit. Suranne Jones isnt as great as all the hype.

I was excited about this as Yorkshire/period drama/lesbian is a great combination, but I'm finding it underwhelming and lacking in focus.

Yes thats it. All very clever with 4th wall and fast moving. But no depth at all.

They've done this story before with Maxine Peake who I much prefer as an actress.

Is this a true story? I’m liking it. Camera angles are a bit annoying, but it’s ok. Although I can see Victoria Wood doing this!

I had high hopes for this but found it strangely underwhelming. Will give it another go next week, but if it doesn’t shape up I think I’m out.

Suranne Jones isnt as great as all the hype she never is imo. She was fabulous in Corrie and that was it.
