I assumed it was a running joke that we’re not supposed to know where it’s set, a bit like Springfield in the Simpsons. Literally every character has a different regional accent!

The money troubles are a red herring to make people think he's got a weakness to blackmail. Not sure about the fed rep yet.

The other pod which I’ve been listening to is the BBC Obsessed With... Line of Duty podcast with lolly adefope and Brett Goldstein. It’s hilarious but affectionately so, and they interviewed the actress who plays Maneet last week.

Yes UCOforAC12 it does bother me how many 'BENT COPPERS' (hereafter referred to as BCs) there might actually be in the police. It really is quite worrying. The woman leading the investigation into the OCG with the UCO is seeking to look like a BC herself as she just seems a bit shifty. Surely if Ted is busy being a BSCU, he hasn't time to be a BC. Too obvious that Hastings isn't H... It's too soon for a Mercurio reveal. Dead cert that lots of BCs will try and make it look like it's him. Corbett is messing with Arnott's mind. Ted will get stung in the investment scam, get 'really bloody angry' and not stay calm due to the stress. Fleming will then suspect his cover is cracking, think he's a BC, then realise Arnott has been taking to Corbett, then think he's a BC and the whole darn thing will start again fellas.....

I've just caught up. Oh my god, I LOVE it! How can we be expected to wait so long for the next episode????

This week’s Shrine of Duty episode is excellent!

I think that Corbett has some sort of Messianic complex - he has turned vigilante, rather than rogue UCO, weeding out the ‘rats’ by whatever means he deems fit.
