It's going to start getting serious soon. Bring on the mass catering challenge!

Grinchly · 07/03/2019 20:58

MrsTommyBanks · 07/03/2019 21:18

I can't keep up

MrsTommyBanks · 07/03/2019 21:19

I have starlings!!!! They rape my bird station. The cunts.

RomaineCalm · 07/03/2019 22:23

Gutted I missed you all tonight, it's not the same watching with just DH for company although he did perk up a bit at the mention of a spreadsheet.

I remembered Tim as being quite a nice guy but thought he was horribly grumpy tonight.

Thanks for the new thread Halsall - back tomorrow!

mazylou · 07/03/2019 22:35

I KNEW Jilly would have been a prop. Good egg.

And FFS, I am just a reasonably good amateur cook, and even I know to use a funnel to put sauces in jugs. We have had a good evening shouting “FUCKOFFGREGG”. And so many mispronunciations!

BoreOfWhabylon · 07/03/2019 23:50

Jilly and Irini are my absolute favourites so far. Although there are a lot of really good wimmin in this series.

Oh, and FUQ OFF GREGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

Footle · 08/03/2019 07:06

Thanks for the commentary , my only hope of catching up.

Halsall · 08/03/2019 08:45

Yes, why was Tim so negative? Even my mum said later on the phone 'who was that bad-tempered judge who moaned about everything?'

Time of the month?

SchadenfreudePersonified · 08/03/2019 10:35

Tell your mum that we all considered him a total ARSE, Halsall.

whatashower · 08/03/2019 10:57

Tim was, if anything, always over-obliging and rather deferential if I recall, so my theory is that the director asked them to be a bit more critical after the first couple of dishes. And Tim over-obliged. 😀

Halsall · 08/03/2019 11:00

Oh, I will, Schaden - she often asks 'what did MN think of it?'

I edit out the F words but the wanks and bollocks are fine Grin

Alternatively he has decided to model himself on the exhaustedly curmudgeonly and acerbic Charles Campion. But failed.

impossibletoday · 08/03/2019 11:22

Just a heads up - there is an episode at 7.30 on SUNDAY!

Halsall · 08/03/2019 11:28

impossibletoday your nn is highly relevant here! I think ellen mentioned this in passing but we mostly overlooked it.

WHAT FRESH HELL IS THIS??

OP posts:
Halsall · 08/03/2019 11:34

Dear God, it gets worse.

Sunday and Monday next week at 7:30.

Then Wednesday and Thursday at 8:00

Nothing on Friday because of Comic Relief.

What are they trying to do to us?

OP posts:
JenniferJareau · 08/03/2019 12:50

I wish they wouldn't piss around with the timings Hmm

whatashower · 08/03/2019 13:38

halsall maybe the producers and BBC agree with us and are committing scheduling harakiri to force a reformat (with fresh presenter) when the ratings plummet. One can only hope 🤞

Pencilmuseum · 08/03/2019 14:17

Is Geoff on tonight? If so, I hope he gets another chance to showcase his nuts.
