When is it back? I'm sure I read somewhere that it would be back in April. Does anyone have any theories about the storyline or characters?

The AC12 triumvirate comprising Hastings, Arnott and Fleming will definitely be back.

What about Roz Huntley? and her rather drippy DH ?

Wil Nige feature? and will we find out how and why Maneet was being blackmailed by Hilton?

BummyKnocker she could just be a 'good' criminal but she isn't a hard nosed person, we see her nerves (the hand shaking), we see her crying in the loo. I think maybe she has a big back story not just a hardened crim in it for the money.

greenpop21 I keep it all in my head because I only started watching a few no the ago! Watched series 1-4 almost back to back! I've watched every episode at least twice! DH falls asleep and we keep rewinding!

I think this too. He's intending to get in with Corbett to find out and feed info back to AC12, but he'll get sucked in and compromised.

Something awful is going to happen with Kate and her family. There've been too many happy-family scenes, plus that heavily expositional chat with her and Steve in the car about how she's so happy now things have settled down blah blah. Perhaps her family will be threatened and she'll be forced to turn 'bad' to protect them.

I've thought from Episode 1 that the young mixed-heritage woman was undercover too, although working for a different big cheese, possibly a bent one. I think she's there to keep an eye on Corbett.

Series one is probably still on Sky on Demand from BBC 4. I’m watching series 3 at the moment on demand. Series 4 looks like it disappears from on Demand early May. Or it is on Netflix

Liking lots of theories above - Kate to take over from a retired/broken Ted ,Steve to end up sucked in by undercover John and dead or in prison/demoted .

YY to terribly false happy families played by Kate .Got to be signalling something - her demise/fall from grace .

He did cushelle, series 1 and it didnt turn out well for either of them. Wont say anymore others not seen it.

• The references to maneet' kids and glimpses of Kate and Corbett's kids have got to be foreshadowing. Even if neither of them are bent at present, they will be once their kids are threatened.

-Corbett stopped talking to his superior (Powell?) because they were changing the direction of the investigation towards lower level targets. I reckon That person is bent and using the operation to get rid of cops that might be in the way.

On the line of duty podcast they had the actress that plays Maneet. She said Dot actor was in Northern Ireland with his kids and came by to see everyone. That's where rumours started. Of course that could be a bluff.
