Tom is only allergic to shellfish though and I thought he gets another equally qualified judge to taste for him for those dishes?

But there are five judges on master chef. Gregg, John and three guests. So it’s not as if the food isn’t getting tasted and it’s not as if she makes the final decision.

My takeaway from last night was that the 3 guest judges were underwhelming and I don’t understand at all why you would invite someone who could not eat the majority of the food presented, specifically to be a judge of that food. It’s a very different situation to a professional chef excusing themselves from one dish due to allergy. I can’t imagine what Sahila herself thought of the experience! It was just odd and unnecessary and avoidable.

I don't mind Saliha to be honest. But I don't think last night's trio of judges made for the most scintillating viewing. Too serious and in Steven's case, too pompous.
