Did anyone note that Mark Paul McGann said earlier that Luther and crew had to go before his wife got home, but then referred to Girlfriend when talking on phone?
I thought maybe he was trying to warn Luther that something was amiss

I’m surprised to hear myself say this, but for me, I think this series would have been better without Alice in it quite as much.

I’m sure the wife is the one with the tumour too, Yousignup. I also think it is some sort of odd role play rather than her trying to cover up....I think she is involved in everything.

The wife is definitely not just a helper/cover up,she's definitely as involved.

I was quite relieved when Benny and Errol were only shot dead. I couldn't have borne anything nastier.

Imagine living next to George. He clearly lives in a nice big house but when the police boss man was waiting for him, it was on a regular street so he'd have neighbours close by, ie it's not a country pile in the middle of nowhere.
Do his neighbours just turn a blind eye to all the comings and goings?

Maybe they like it as there is always someone in to take your Yodel parcel.
