Why did Alice kill the gangsters son?

I'm not sure why I'm not loving this as much. It feels a bit like it's just too death-focused, it's too packed with horrible things for it to come as a surprise.

I'm gutted for Benny

I actually expected it to be a lot worse, and was pleasantly surprised that suitcase girl escaped. Poor female DI running the investigation alone - just as well Luther doesn't have to clock in at the office every day.

Alice killed George’s son cos he set her up when trying to sell the diamonds

I didn’t enjoy tonight’s episode. I loved the fact she would swoop in as an evil accomplice. He would never have left her in the car.

I do like the Cornelius character though.

Maybe it's the wife who's dying of a tumour and the DH genuinely wants to find a nice lady to love him once she's gone.

That house (belonging to Dr & Dr Psycho) has been used in another drama, possibly Silent Witness or Waking the Dead.
