Finished WLFKBJ. Enjoyed it very much but it's not in my top 5 . NJH has a new drama coming out next year

I was out late with friends yesterday and am now veeeery hungover and fragile. Once I’ve got through all the chores and appointments I foolishly arranged for this morning, I will be retreating to my sofa for some medicinal kdrama.

I took a look at Bride of the Water God last night, it is total bonkers and I haven't a clue what's going on but I don't think it matters in the least.

Dear God. Just spent the last 2 hours sorting out the freezer and then putting away the giant Christmas food delivery. The paracetamol and Rennies are barely touching my hangover. Off out shortly with son to the dentist. I can’t wait to come home and flop in front of the TV. I know its self-inflicted but I feel shocking. 😞 I’m clearly getting too old for big nights out.

I would dearly dearly love to sit and veg out but I've got a chicken coop to clear out!.. I will console myself with BTS on the wireless speaker and put Spring Day on a loop... And perfect my dance moves whilst I'm shovelling poo! 👍😊

I feel both your pain!! Couple of Christmas cards that have to go out first class, return a present click & collect, walk dog, YET ANOTHER trip to Waitrose then maybe an hour or so before getting ready for works do which will try & duck out of early.

On ep 2 of Bride of the Water God and don't really know why I'm watching it as it is nonsense oh yes I do NJH

Bettys!... Yes! Bride of water god... It's good to watch but a necessity to stay up ludicrous hours to watch... I'm finding his "servant" not very endearing at the moment..it's the silly haircut I think! . I'm waiting for it to kick in and get super interesting!.. Yes! Hanging in there for NJH! 😂😂😂

I’m persevering with Secretary Kim. It may not be such a bad thing that I only love it about 55% because it means I’m getting stuff done around the house before my Christmas guests arrive.

OK, I woke up thinking about Secretary Kim and the Vice Chairman’s wardrobe clinch, so I’m gradually giving in to it. However, his portrayal as a narc/selfish twerp at the start is hard to reconcile with his current nice guy persona and this is one of the least believable kdrama personality transformations IMO. I am also admiring of the Vice Chairman’s physique but not wowed and I have seen better chemistry between leads, so it won’t make my top 10.

He’s just turned up at her apartment unannounced and told her he’s moving in to hers because she said no to staying over at his. Still seeing a man who struggles to accept and respect others’ boundaries... 🤷‍♂️

Haven't seen 50 Shades of Farrow & Ball Grey so can't compare.

Maybe you'll join the Vice-Chairman Appreciation Society after the sofa scene, or the next shirtless scene I'm so shallow . Or perhaps it's just Park Seo-Joon and not the character that's swoonsome.

Watching Bride of the Water God while doing xmas jobs, which frankly doesn't matter as I've given up on the plot and am just watching the bits with NJH in.

I quite liked You From the Stars but watched it early on in my kdrama journey via a crappy stream so maybe need to take another look at it as it didn't make my top 10, or even 20. Especially as it has Park Hae-Jin in who I have gained a new appreciation of after Cheese in the Trap (both the series and the film). Some dramas you keep thinking about after you've finished them, and some you don't, which is kind of how I rate them really. Cheese in the Trap is one such, definitely in my top 10.

I’m trying really hard, but he gets jealous about her talking to male colleagues, tells her she’ll regret it if he dumps her, wants to occupy all her time. I really want Sec Kim to take an assertiveness course, insist on a lengthy break and only then decide whether she wants to be with him. He just doesn’t give her any space to find herself or breathe. On ep 11 or 12 now, her Dad’s in hospital, so not much longer to go.

Awesome! She just told him he’s a bulldozer. Go girl!
