A quiet corner of MN for serious addicts of Kdrama, or the Kdrama-curious. Most of our viewing is drawn from Netflix and Viki, but the more seriously addicted have other sources, including dramabus. Ahhh my love for the vice chairman! Aura! 😂😂😂... I especially love the office staff at yumyung group (or whatever they're called!)... Boatyard! Enjoy!... I cast from viki... And screen it on the big telly.. The quality is very good!

Deffo second bettys rec to get family Spotify! I'm listening to loads and loads of old stuff that I haven't heard for years... And I love odd live recordings too! First Aid Kit has got some good stuff on there! (when I'm not listening to an OST or BTS ☺️☺️)

Just finished ep 1. There was a pensive shower scene, but I’m all about So Ji Sub in the (bath) tub right now. The Vice Chairman is meh to me. May relent if his smile lights up the sky. He’s a clueless doughnut right now.

The subtitlers on Viki are a touch overzealous. It’s testing my speedreading skills, though I like that the song lyrics are subtitled.

I've just finished the first episode of My Strange Hero (Viki) and really enjoying it so far.
Also feeling virtuous as it is airing now so only 2 episodes a week.

I also like Seo Ji-Sub in or out of a bathtub but in a smooching scene Vice -Chairman wins every time.

Episode 2 and they've actually used a stretcher and an ambulance!!! No piggyback!!

I like the subtitles on Viki as they often give explanations for Korean idioms although I sometimes have to pause to read the.

I think Secretary Kim’s apartment blick and the approach road (railings) are the same location as the FL’s home at the start of Oh My Venus, before she moves in with Happy, Bashful and Doc.

Ladies ladies!... Weightlifting Fairy is absolutely lovely!! Am on ep12 and it's a corker... Have been blubbering over the lovely family relationships!... It's worth a watch! Deffo! Would love to finish it but I need to go to bed! 😭

I signed up for Viki Standard last night (or rather DH did), not Viki Basic, because I wanted their own content. Have I been suckered? Standard was only available on a monthly sub at £3.99 a month, not as a sweet annual deal as Betty mentioned.

That’s odd, I’ve been on Viki standard monthly pass up till now so just went to check out the annual deal with special offer and have signed up to it. Seems to have worked ok. 🤞

Bea I’m trying to be good & not start a new box set!! Oh I suppose I could take a quick look, wish Viki had a download function then I could watch on the tube.

boatyardblues it may be because you've done it via Apple, or are you on the week's free trial? Whatever, it's great that you're on it now there are loads of series to catch up on. I will avoid boring jobs write a list of suggestions

There's soooo much on viki!... I'll just take 2019 off... Watch everything I want to watch then come back to society in 2020!

I'm on last ep of weightlifting Fairy... And I think it's in my top 5!!... The relationship between the two leads is adorable (I hate that word but it sums it up!)... He is the loveliest and soooo kind... Sigh! Swoon!

Bea - you failed to mention that Ji Soo was in Weightlifting Fairy.
