Big mistake - he's still not coming across as being likeable and Katya wearing less makeup isn't going to swing it either. Yes, he has a right to address what has been said about him but now is not the best time. I really don't think that's helped at all, quite the opposite!

I wish he'd stopped at "I'm sorry". The rest of his "explanation" was cringeworthy and not at all nice to Rebecca. He seemed to be implying that they were going to split up anyway.

Tbf, Katya didn't come across well (to me) either with the comment about her marriage being fine and that's all that mattered to her.

I think it was a real mistake to give this airtime. It was never going to turn public opinion and just set a very odd tone.

Think I'd have preferred them to brazen it out rather than insincere non apology.

It’s ridiculous. Did any of the other strictly pros have to apologise when they did the same thing? Did Zoe apologise for her drunken snog (she was married at the time). Not saying what they did was right but it’s really none of our business.

Nothing sincere about any of it. K and S looked like they were told to go to the heads office and explain themselves. I think they’ll be in the dance off.
