Emily has been kicked out of Big Brother for using a racist word

Apparently she called Charley the N word in a 'joking manner' whilst they were dancing and was chucked out at 3 in the morning.

it all seems a bit hypocritical to me. Big Brother is a show that thrives on conflict. It deliberately puts people into situations where they shout and ball at one another all in the name of entertainment.
Like that 'task' last night, when the bloke had to put all the girls in order of attractiveness. What was that if not a transparent attempt to get everyone arguing?
To do all this, to put people in this situation, and then to say that a single word is enough to get them booted out is ludicrous.
What makes "nigger" worse than "fuck" or "cunt" or all the other things that have been said.

Did charley take offense at it though. I used to work in a youth centre where several of the black (sorry if thats not pc) boys used to call each other nigger as a friendly term. For the younger generation it doesn't seem to have the same meaning as it used to.

I don't suppose she used the N word in a nasty, attack kind of way but more of a jokey, friendly way. When Jade done it, she was being nasty and horrible.

She is conservative supporter and described as upper middle class. She professes to have high standards. very high indeed. Hope her parents are proud.

Can't blame them for coming down like a tonne of bricks for it though, after Jade's fiasco. It makes me laugh because Emily considered herself so much more intelligent than everyone else in there.
