They were all in the same holiday let - four families. And the murder was 18 years earlier so TV man was still married to ex wife (he told her he left her 17 years ago).

Who was he calling at the end. Was it his son? Son too young to be involved in this. So who did he call 'darling'?

Also can someone tell me if the dark-haired woman whom artist-man-in-camper-van has proposed to is the same dark-haired woman who is representing dodgy doc in the tribunal?

Sorry I meant I was worrying for 45 minutes-about Chris' (James Fleet) little dog, Frankie. He ran away when Chris' campervan was trashed. It was 45 minutes in when he turned up, safe & sound. So for 45 minutes I was worrying what had happened to him. I thought it was stupid of Chris to leave the poor dog on his own inthe camper van.

The actress playing the woman taking the doc to work is Gabrielle Glaister.

The name of James's first wife is Mel, so Elles/Mel...could be I suppose.

It's brilliant, can't wait for next week's episode. They all look so flipping guilty! It will be very interesting to see how the individual stories are linked.

I always worry when there's a new series of a programme I previously enjoyed in case I'm disappointed with the new one but I think this one could turn out to be the best yet!

We were trying to work out who Ells was too. Can't see it being the ex-wife as they seemed to have a very bitter relationship, and he would not have spoken to her on the phone using endearments. And surely the son is too young to have been involved all those years ago.

I think they'll be some significance in them being identical twins...initially I thought there could have been a identity swap but the metal plate puts paid to that idea

I’m normally slow on the uptake - but I thought Ells was Elliot, his son. Also the son only had to have been in his teens 18 years ago, which he could have been and would link in with the girl being a teen as well.

I also think the 4 men are long standing friends who therefore holidayed together at the time.

And yes, teacher was the boyfriend of the girl who was murdered

The son looks as if he’s in his early 20’s to me.
