Hi all

Maybe it was the public reaction which did the trick.

Roussette · 15/07/2018 22:00

How many more episodes does anyone know?

AWomanIsAnAdultHumanFemale · 15/07/2018 22:00

Who will Waterford take his anger out on?

Failbydefault · 15/07/2018 22:00

Omg, the timing of this episode with Trump’s visit is perfect!

kalapattar · 15/07/2018 22:01

I thought Nik would stay. They are going to know it's him

BG2015 · 15/07/2018 22:01

3 more after tonight

Roussette · 15/07/2018 22:02

Thanks BG

This has been a great episode. Because Gilead has had some payback

Bringonspring · 15/07/2018 22:04

Oooo 3 more episodes!!!

theredjellybean · 15/07/2018 22:05

I am bored of it now.
First series I Literally couldn't breathe for the tension. Now I am flicking through newspaper, ate a ice cream and posted on mn...

RedorBlack · 15/07/2018 22:05

I worry for June now. Fred's not known for his emotional maturity when things don't go his way.

I wonder if Nick will tel June about his conversation with Luke?

Soubriquet · 15/07/2018 22:05

Written proof over vocal?

Being able to compare some refugees stories with those who escaped.

Such as a husband up in Canada has a wife in gilead who is a handmaid. Suddenly we have a letter with her name on it detailing everything that has happened and proves what he says

DrinkReprehensibly · 15/07/2018 22:05

Eden knowing Nick had those letters is going to be the key that gives him away I think.

OytheBumbler · 15/07/2018 22:06

Has June given up on ever getting Hannah out?

Hygge · 15/07/2018 22:06

Yvonne Strahovski is so good in this role.

WitchSharkadder · 15/07/2018 22:06

Four more episodes still to go!

I think it’s more that now the Canadian public have been made aware of what’s happening after the letters went viral and the government can’t ignore millions of people. I imagine the amount of escaped handmaids was relatively small and didn’t have a huge voice before.

AWomanIsAnAdultHumanFemale · 15/07/2018 22:06

This season is definitely not as good as the first one. It’s stretched the limits of believability too far for me.

WitchSharkadder · 15/07/2018 22:09

Plus, I imagine the vast majority of the refugees were those who escaped prior to the real shit hitting the fan. When it was just ‘small’ stuff like women losing their jobs. Not many would know about the later set up re handmaids/Jezebel’s/the colonies/ritualised rapes.

theredjellybean · 15/07/2018 22:09

OK that's it for me... A driver is allowed to go into sleeping handmaid's bedroom at night... Really??????

BG2015 · 15/07/2018 22:10

Yes 4 more sorry

Hygge · 15/07/2018 22:10

These are the bits I find stretching.

Nick able to wander about inside at night, upstairs to June's room without being heard.

In that big creaky house with the wooden floors and all those stairs.

And some nutter with a gun hating on the unwoman who might still be on the loose somewhere downstairs.

It happens too often for them not to be discovered.

AWomanIsAnAdultHumanFemale · 15/07/2018 22:12

Why doesn’t she ask nick to protect the baby too? It’s his child, he would be the first one to want it safe.

BG2015 · 15/07/2018 22:12

Like my DP always says.....it's only a TV series!

If everyone's asleep I'm sure it's perfectly feasible for people to creep, about the house.

DrinkReprehensibly · 15/07/2018 22:15

I almost feel like Nick was saying goodbye. He must know he's in the shit now?

AWomanIsAnAdultHumanFemale · 15/07/2018 22:16

Suddenly we have a letter with her name on it detailing everything that has happened and proves what he says

But some of the refugees were handmaids/Martha’s/etc. Not husbands telling of their wives but actual women who had actually lived it, shown the scars of their ear tags and missing eyes, and forced Caesarian sections. Why on earth would a letter that could be totally fake be believed over those women standing there in person telling it?

OhHolyJesus · 15/07/2018 22:17

I bet Eden saw him in June's room, the light was on, she could have seen their shadows.

Is she going to try to escape again before the end of the series - I'm not sure my heart can take it!

I wanted Serena to find a phone number inside the matches and she's gone and burnt them now - she's really made her bed now.
