Blondes - you've contradicted yourself in one post! Grin spoilers galore for those who've not yet seen season 1.

No spoilers, but I have looked ahead. All I'll say is some amazing guest stars coming up.

I loved brothers and sisters, I'm actually about to watch the resident starting Emily van camp who I first saw in brothers & sisters - can't afford sky though Sad

Never heard of that lol is it very similar to this is us??

Graphista · 11/07/2018 01:26

Yes sort of wealthier version with a larger family. 5 kids of matriarch played by Sally field.

Both produced and sometimes directed by Ken Olin who also starred in thirtysomething which was kind of the 80's precursor but friends as family (in a similar way to Friends tv show, entangled relationships etc).

It's good definitely worth a watch.

Lol. It’s fair game if been shown on uk tv to discuss it

No one should be watching s2 if haven’t seen 1 😛😛

And yes brothers and sisters was bloody fantastic

Decided to watch this TV show, so many good reviews, and switched over to More 4 at 9pm. Can't believe this is the same show!
Can anyone suggest where to find this on terrestrial TV
please (elderly tabby with only basic equipment). Thanks.

I think it's only showing on more4 do you not have digital tv Em? I thought everyone did now.

I watch on my tablet using all4 app

No digital tv Graphista, and both mobile phones buried back of cupboard (I did give them another try, but just too old to manage new technology). Renewed my laptop this summer, but really hate the thing and am seriously considering donating it to a child I know and replacing it with a tablet, but don't know of a nice simple one and the only place I know selling them locally is Currys, who dont seem to offer advice.

Now I've had a moan, I might look into alternatives. Or just wait for more tempting TV programmes.....

I noticed yesterday that season 2 is streaming on Amazon Prime but there are just the two episodes up at the moment and they're not free to view.

Ken Olin who produced Brothers and Sisters also produced Parenthood and This is Us. Parenthood is well worth a watch but it's not streaming anywhere at the mo that I know of.

I hate the fact we are so far behind the US that I know what happened to Jack.

Just binge watched all of season two. I thought it would be a disappointment after season 1 but it just gets better and better. Fingers crossed for a third season.

Elizabeth Perkins as the grandma - love the actress but wow she's annoying as the character!

I'm currently re-watching Brothers & Sisters on Amazon Prime, it's q big favourite of Teen DD and mine. Love This is Us too, can't work out why Series 2 is buried on All4 and not C4.

I’m going to open a bottle of wine in a minutes.

If anyone can find Parenthood its well worth watching.

I’m also hooked on the Resident. I love Emily VanCamp.

Thought this episode was great. Love all the characters & how they tell the story (except Toby as he bugs me!).

Report
JeremiahBackflip · 27/07/2018 19:27

Toby annoys me too! But then I also get annoyed on his behalf when Kevin and Kate totally ignore him.

I love this programme and am desperate to watch it unfold. I really like how the different timelines are woven together.

But am slightly worried they are going to give Kevin a painkiller addiction. I want him to get the big line with Sly Stallone!
