I wonder if 'everything goes back to the beginning' refers to how Saga's experience as a child has such an influence on her now. That Saga finds it so hard to relate to others because her parents never showed her how to be emotionally close.

I thought she found it difficult to relate because she had Aspergers. Her parents were awful but can't be blamed for that although they certainly wouldn't have helped her deal with it.

I meant to say lovely parents can have children with aspergers or asd too.

The ok, my theory about the firing squad is this....

The firing squad is the Danish SWAT team, so maybe someone is taken hostage and someone else has to intervene and risk getting shot.

My money is on a suddenly able-bodied Kevin taking Astrid hostage in the hope that Henrik steps in. Henrik then gets the fun, threatens Kevin and the guns are then trained on him. Haven't googled, this is a completely made up scenario.

Where is the boy (son of the violent taxi driver)? Didn't he run away from the village? Not that I think he's involved, but he might be collateral damage. By the way, I have to say I didn't think much of his mum's acting - when you look at Saga you see someone who's traumatised. When you look at that woman you don't, yet she was supposed to have been a victim of domestic violence.

Alice is Henrik's wife, isn't she? Do you mean Frank (the creep) was the two sisters' step father? It would be good to have that to throw at him, too.

I think Saga probably does have Aspergers but wasn't nurtured as a child either which has made life and relationships harder. I like that they don't use any terms on the show though. She's just Saga.
