Anyone else counting the hours 'til Friday? Saga banged up and stitched up for the murder of her evil mama; how will she cope? Come on Henrik, save our girl!

It ended with both Saga and Henrik out of their respective jobs. Saga's evil mother had committed suicide but had arranged it in such a way that Saga could have killed her. Motive, no alibi and forensics all pointed to Saga as evil mum intended. She's not at work and facing trial; she attempts suicide but Henrik saves her (beautiful scene).

Henrik is told that his wife's body has been found but not his daughters. He wants to pursue the case but Lillian ( boss) won't let him. He resigns. It ends with Saga and Henrik working together to find the missing girls. They look happy together ( in a noir-ish way).

Popping in to say Tak

SirVixofVixHall · 11/05/2018 21:17

Hei everyone. On end of seat already,

Pebblespony · 11/05/2018 22:01

BBC kinda ruined the cliffhanger at the end there Grin

Slartybartfast · 11/05/2018 22:01

Oer, must not see next week preview

Slartybartfast · 11/05/2018 22:02

Avoided the preview phew

SirVixofVixHall · 11/05/2018 22:02

Oh good grief ! Do you think she is dead ?

Slartybartfast · 11/05/2018 22:09

Aside from the ending, that was really good

Applejack70455 · 11/05/2018 22:10

I don't know. Henrik sees dead people - maybe he'll imagine her for the rest of the series and it will be like sixth sense 😬 Don't know how you come back from that much blood loss!

MrsFring · 11/05/2018 22:10

Nah. Even without the spoiler preview she's ok. Wonder if Linn will allow her back to work? Henrik seemed so different, all the swagger has gone, poor lad.

I didn’t get a preview. No trailer here.

VanillaSugar · 11/05/2018 22:32

I hate hate the spoiler previews Angry.

VanillaSugar · 11/05/2018 22:32

How long was she in prison for? Two years?

helzapoppin2 · 11/05/2018 22:39

The Danish repertory company of 11 actors strikes again, and we get the errant husband from Borgen as the Henrik's new cop partner, plus various others I vaguely recognise from other Scandi noirs.
I'm disillusioned with Danish prisons. You'd think they'd be progressive places, but there's little understanding of Saga's psychological state, and they're quite scantily staffed.
Anyway, I went yippee when they showed the Oresund bridge again. I've missed that bridge. Isn't it time Martin was released?

BoreOfWhabylon · 11/05/2018 23:43

OMG! I think you might be right!!

Applejack70455 · 12/05/2018 08:48

Just read the guardian blog and I'm not original as loads of the btl comments are saying the same - so hopefully that means it's not true. I do think it will somehow end with Henrik losing Saga but finding his kids though. Hmm

Applejack70455 · 12/05/2018 08:51

And after Steve recovered from being bashed with a baseball bat and thrown down three flights of stairs in Line of Duty I reckon anything's possible in detective dramas 😊

JessyJames · 12/05/2018 08:55

I want 2 episodes!

applecatchers36 · 12/05/2018 08:59

Me too Jessy it feels like they have just teased us with the start and feels like it's going to be a long week before next episode

Slartybartfast · 12/05/2018 09:29

I liked the twin, fooling the girl he was the famous tv newsman Grin

HollowTalk · 12/05/2018 10:02

Yes, but he's going to be mistaken for the newsman, isn't he, and not in a good way! In a tortured and beaten and dead way!

HollowTalk · 12/05/2018 10:04

Saga's cellmate - the one with long hair - I had it all worked out. I thought in a later episode Saga will be lying on her bed, playing the CD of the woman reading to her child who's been adopted, and this will be as close to a female friend as she'd get.

And then the woman stabbed her!

MrsFring · 12/05/2018 12:18

Thanks to the weekend TV guides we now know what will happen next week. I really wish they wouldn't do this! The cliffhanger device is a centuries old way of keeping us speculating but seems obsolete now, annoying.

VanillaSugar · 12/05/2018 14:36

some of us don’t read the weekend TV guides though MrsFring

MrsFring · 12/05/2018 15:38

I know, that's why I didn't repeat what was said.
