I've just caught up with the final episode. Some great predictions on this thread, it's been good being able to discuss it. I'm glad Saga, Henrik and Astrid didn't die but part of me wanted a neat tying up of ends, they all lived happily ever after.

The way she answered her phone at the end without the 'Malmo police' bit was lovely but who was phoning her? Not someone connected with work or she would have told them she wasn't working anymore - she just listened. And which direction was she going over the Bridge. I feel hopeful they will get together eventually.

glamorousgrandmother I don't think it would have been The Bridge realistic to give a 'happy ever after' neatly tied up ending. However, I have every faith that the final scenes were suggestive of Henrik and Saga getting back together (the tender if fleeting kiss said it all).

When Henrik jokes to Saga that they're both fucked up, she firmly tells him that considering their shitty history, they are actually amazing people.
They went through shit and came through it and survived.
