It's that Homeland time of year again

It feels so long ago that poor Weaselly Quinn met his maker that I had to Wiki what happened last season. We were left with an easily-led Madame President, an assassination plot, Saul in prison, Quinn dead in a Jeep and Carrie's distraught face working on overtime.

But it's back! Feb 11th US which I reckon means Feb 18th UK (although last year Channel 4 didn't tell us till about a minute before kick-off, despite my pathetic emailing). . Yay!

Wigs: I bet Carry carries a couple of spares just in case. Or maybe wig switching was always part of the original plan (or its B version).

I hope the series doesn't end with Carrie being made prisoner Shock.

That was more a Homeland episode than the recent Carrie/Franny/yawn/Maggie ones. Liked the meeting with Yevgeny telling the US delegation off.

Did Carrie have a wig in each back pocket during her Spiderwoman climb along balconies? If Yevgeny does capture her then it'd be a Carrie/Simone trade, surely. Maybe she'll be in the dacha pool till Saul rescues her.

Paley's CoS - could she be a Russian agent or is she just a self-serving career adviser? Wondered why Clint folded so easily then thought maybe as a geek he'd been up to other stuff the AG would prosecute him for. Still think Saul would have warned him to beware of sudden attention from anyone & send out the SaulSignal to the team for help.

Loved that but there were a few plot holes, as mentioned above. She definitely had a wig in each pocket. I reckon Yevgeny is going to try to kill Simone (who is really Carrie.

Yevgeny is not the only one after Simone. Does the other Army dude know the US have her? Wouldn't they still be looking for her, so that he gets his billions back?

Yevgeny- love the way that name rolls off the tongue.
It did turn a bit Mission Impossible with Carrie creeping around the outside of that building several floors up. Totally unnoticed by hoards of Russian spies, natch.

Thought Simone was supposed to be in the safest place yet the door glass just smashes and it's not locked.

Other than that love the fact it's all calm around the meeting table knowing what's going on around them.

Finale night!

But I made the stupid, stupid mistake of drinking prosecco at lunchtime in the heat and now have that bleurgh feeling that no amount of leftover barbecue sausages will cure. Maybe Homeland will do the job.
