J'adore this series. All the old faithful's are back in action.

Finally got to watch this last night. Had to do a series 5 final episode recap via the Guardian after the 2 year gap.
Certainly very dark and back on form. Such good characters, especially love mad Roban.
It was definitely gold and wasn't it two little bars? Silly boy!
Thought Laure was a bit too good at climbing over the fence after giving birth and being stabbed in the stomach only 4 weeks previously.

Good that you all want Gilou, means I get Tintin to myselfWinkGrin

Anyone else find Marianne's reaction to Roban and the Perrier really weird? She knows about the nose bleeds, she's heard he could be ill and it was obvious he didn't know what he was doing.

He'd just told her that he didn't want to discuss his health. I thought that she didn't want to confront him again so left instead?

Cindy has no room to complain, bearing in mind she's trying to con him out of money. I'd assume he'd be binning her pronto regardless of what he may feel for anyone else but having watched this programme for the last six years, I know Gilou's brain's are most definitely not in his head!

I used to loathe Josephine in the early years but my God her life has fallen apart since the middle of the last series. I feel so sorry for her now.

I think there has always been a frisson between Marianne and Roban and she thought he was asking to see her because he was going to ask her out now that she no longer works for him. She's realised the feeling isn't mutual and he only wants to talk about work so she left.

And Laure - loves the chase but can't commit. Things could go really wrong with Gilou and the team. She's scared stiff of committing to her little girl in case she doesn't pull through.

Fantastic again. I don't blame Marianne for walking away - every time she thinks Roban is going to treat her like a friend he turns it back to work and just wants her to help him out. I suspect she'll be back - I hope so. I love Marianne!
Josephine is excellent, as always.

It was good to see Marianne, she was obviously pleased to see Roban, cared enough about him to go to meet him.

I hope Josephine gets her just rewards - that was brilliantly acted.

They finally kissed! I was laughing at that scene.

The baby is so tiny. It must be incredibly difficult.

Interesting about Marianne - I hadn't realised until now that she might have feelings for Roban. In his phone message to her he said 'It's a personal matter' but it turned out to be work. And he had no idea why she walked out.

I think she went to work for someone else so there was no professional bar to them getting together, but he never did anything about it @katycantrip.

Josephine has grown so much and has become sympathetic without letting too much of her bitch goddess in heels go.
I miss Pierre too...the most beautiful man and lovely hair.
Am off to search out Beautiful bodies. Gilou's stumpy little body and the funny range of noises he has for responses pfffttt pprrrrttt....endless.
This series never disappoints.
Agree about Laure and the athletics over the walls.
It moves fast and you have to keep up but usually you will pick up the bit you dropped two episodes before and you go ahhhhh....

I loved seeing Marianne again too. More of her.

And I love how French they are. So proud of themselves at having worked a whole fifty hour week! Like that is so above and beyond the call of duty in the hunt for a sadistic killer. Sarah Lund and Saga must be laughing at them.

I felt like I'd been on a rollercoaster tonight. Poor Roban, I actually felt nervous for him. I was hoping he'd call Marianne.

Good point about Herville. Although he didn't get the transfer docs that Mercier supposedly put in. Wondering about Herville's assistant as a possible source.

Tooth - yes, I wonder that too. he was always a bit of a toad before.
I love the new chief, getting all excited about being involved with the officers on the street.

And I think Josephine's revenge will be spectacular.
I do wish every single drama didn't have a vomit scene though. It's become such a cliche.

I wonder if their current boss is the informer? Or whoever assigned Herville to Clery. Mercier was onto whatever is going on I think. The mayor is either corrupt or being manipulated.

I think Josephine is going to trash Vern's Porsche and have a very frank conversation with him about how it won't just be his upholstery she'll take the scissors to next time.
