Trying to catch up but doing it in all the wrong ways. Watched ep1 s4 first A’s was intrigued by the many, many ads. Enjoyed it so much and found s3 on catch up. Just bitten the bullet and downloaded s1&2 on Amazon prime, watched s1, now in the midst of s2. Can’t stop, it’s like an addiction.

Sam Neil appears to be channelling Ian Paisley and Cillian Murphy’s cheekbones and eyes are a wonder!

Cillian Murphy as Tommy is so very different to Cillian Murphy as himself. The difference the hair cut makes is amazing.

Union woman was the kidnap victim in Happy Valley, she's good but not good enough for Tommy, that accolade falls to me.

Do you only want him for his OBE?

Partly that, but mainly because I'd like to cover him in Nutella and lick it all off.

Mr Gold is played by the lovely Aidan Gillen who starred in Queer as Folk (showing my age). He also starred in a fantastic Irish drama called Love Hate well worth a watch if people have't seen it.

Enjoyed this episode not as explosive as ep 1 but it is setting things up very nicely and getting very tense . Hope Esme returns in some form
