I think Carl might kill Negan by biting him. That would also save Rick from his wrath iyswim.

Mustang27 · 18/12/2017 10:56

I really like Negan and Carl's relationship I'm sad it never got more air time.

I can't find his new haircut Hmm google is failing me lol

Aw, he doesn't look like my DS1 anymore Grin

LiveLifeWithPassion · 19/12/2017 07:14

Fans are really upset! Wonder what’s going to happen now?
I did look at some twitter stuff and loads of people have said they’re going to stop watching after Carl’s death. They feel like they owe it Carl to watch how it pans out, then they’ll stop.

Their formula - stretch one day over many episodes - is letting them down this series because there hasn't been enough jeopardy this time around. Also, where is the psychological drama, which is what keeps me watching at least? Carl's death might inject that into the 2nd half.

Aridane · 19/12/2017 10:38

Have only caught up with the last few episodes - and there was a time when I'd leave work with a spring in my step when the latest episode was coming out. Also was so impressed with earlier series that I had re-watched. And of course the threads on here filled up so quickly. Really not sure where, if anywhere, it's going to go from here

misskelly · 19/12/2017 14:09

Im just about ready to give up now, I can’t follow what’s going on. Is it just me or does anyone else think the editors have lost their minds, the last episode looks like it was put together as a homage to terrible 90/00’s teen movies. There was something about it that reminded me of Twilight. I do wonder If the production team have been unnerved by GoT and bottled it.

Mustang27 · 19/12/2017 15:03

There was a few times some of the scenes felt a bit b list film. The stupid panning to the casts faces being one of them, when Daryl slides off his bike when he is getting shot at from the car or that bazooka moment with Rosita Hmm. Just left me a bit cold.

I'm reading the comics as we speak so I dont know if it's homage to comic scenes or just poor writing/filming. Maybe they are feeling sentimental about Romero dying this year so writing in some more old school zombie movie things for those fans.

Im definitely not out though.

Thanks for sharing the pic of chandlers hair he looks good. He has such lovely facial features.

Mustang27 · 20/12/2017 03:57

A FTWD question?? So I binge watched the first two seasons on amazon and loved them, although Nick has a very gurney face for a young man. Any way lol they now want me to pay 2.50 an episode and there is 16 ep in season 3. This is daylight robbery help me rectify by finding somewhere else to watch it or does anyone know when they will make it free? Seems naff that they don't even do a buy a season deal.

cushioncovers · 20/12/2017 08:45

Same here. Patiently waiting for series 3 to become free of prime.

Aah FTWD. In which Nick spends all his time covered in zombie slime, thus proving everyone in TWD for not doing the same as a matter of routine... It's a genuinely different take on TWD but I'm struggling with it as I don't think there's a single character I like (apart from the daughter, maybe). Makes it hard to care. Plus all that weird spiritual shit that happened at that big house...

ConcreteUnderpants · 20/12/2017 10:51

I agree, glowfrog. If they all became a zombie buffet, I really wouldn't care.

And Coral looks so much better without his hideous lanky long hair and that stupid hat.
If Carol dies as well, I'm having a protest as even Daryl had gone daft.

glowfrog · 20/12/2017 12:10

Can someone please explain to me why/how Carol changed in s7 when she decided she didn't want to kill anyone anymore? That seemed to come out of nowhere. I'm finding a lot of the characters doing that at the moment. Daryl hasn't had any interesting development since Beth... Apart from what's happened to his hair.

glowfrog · 20/12/2017 12:12

Concrete I cheered when the psycho boy got one in the head... Idiot. Felt bad for his dad, though.

Or maybe it was polluted water/the ghost of Shane?
The same thing that caused Daryl and the insignificant dark haired woman to go rogue and against the rules and drive a tanker into the Saviour's house.
And Morgan to go from anti-killing Aikido warrier to mean Aikido bad ass wanting to kill everyone (did you see him on his own with that gun at their lair? He was like an awesome Robocop).

Or maybe just the writers having a relapse or something?

cushioncovers · 20/12/2017 17:12

Thanks for The coughs Grin

MiddleClassProblem · 20/12/2017 19:49

Did you just call Tara insignificant? Shock

Mrsknackered · 20/12/2017 21:16

Tara is insignificant! Sorry MC

ConcreteUnderpants · 20/12/2017 22:43

Yes, MC!
Thanks for reminding me of her name.
I'll forget it now though....too insignificant! Wink
