that is the actual building they film in - it's all REAL! (and you have to pay to get a coffee from a horrid machine. I suspect you have to fill in four forms to get a paperclip, god only knows what happens if you need a new chair)

It does make you wonder how they get anything done! I love the BBC and hate all the bashing it gets but it's a wonder things ever get on air

Love this - saw it for the first time this week. So does Lucy fancy Ian? And does Anna? Is that why both went to his hotel room?

Ian fancies Lucy so he volunteered to go to Salford when Lucy had to go. Anna fancies Ian so that's why she tagged herself on for no good reason and turned up at his room. I think Lucy likes Ian but more in a polite and professional way rather than fancying him.

And Will has a huge crush on Izzy.

It's really worth watching the previous two series if you can. Even better go back and watch '2012' where we meet many of the characters for the first time.

I think there was a current of attraction/flirtation between Lucy and Ian in a previous series (after Olivia Colman's character left, or was that 2012?)
Then he and Anna at the end of the last one were going to dinner – she told him she'd booked a restaurant and, even though 'the fact of the matter is, the kitchen closes at 10', she'd asked them to stay open later.

I was never convinced Bore. I think she was simply stopping Lucy from getting any further, and now Lucy is at the table and in Manchester - obviously Anna had to be there to 'invigilate'.

Ian's secretary in the Olympics? She had the hots for him and was on a hope for a promise after he left his wife.
