Any theories yet? I too think the murderer didn't drown himself, and def has something to do with Erkki, the caretaker , but I'm not sure how the Norwegians come into it, apart from.paying Erkki to scare the swedes away. But why?

Oh blimey, I'm such a weed and never watch scary stuff alone but dp has gone out for Chinese and not yet returned, so I'm here by myself hiding behind my dressing gown!

Ok this is a wild theory but could the red eye be a normal contagious infection but there's something in the eye drops that Mette gives them that sends them dolally? I doubt it but I'm an armchair detective

Crucially I missed the first few minutes of this series so never worked out who Eling is she's an ex girlfriend of Johan isn't she but why is she there? As a friend? And Lippi and Oswald are friends too? And Mette is Hannes sister? Frank is johan brother? I should have worked this out before!

OMG. DH is refusing to keep me company. He says my jumping around and squealing is too much.

Just watched the first episode,it's creepy like The Shining! Not watching any more episodes at night,too spooky. Dh is asleep

I thought that about ' the shining' too, these swedish youngsters would never have gone to stay there if they'd seen that film!

Dh was out again last night so I braved it alone. I was up 5 times in the night with kids, spiders, dogs. Found out I'm rather brave by myself after all. 😁

Hanne gave me the courage to watch it yesterday evening. If she can keep going down into that super eerie cellar, then I can watch it.

Elin never seemed a sympathetic character but will be sad if Lippi has died.

Some of the 'uncanny' happenings will have been instigated by Dag and Errki but not sure all will be explained that way.

How come Elin had 'the red eye' in one scene and then when she was talking to Hanne she didn't?

Agree 'red eye' is probably a red herring too, though.

What's happened to poor Jostein?

Teddy, I think because of the eye drops Elins eye improved, but you did see her using more drops to cover the red eye up again and try to hide the fact she's a nasty bitch. 😁

Anyway theories....
We know Dag, Jostein and Erkki are hiding something, and it would've been exposed if they have another power cut and pesky kids don't leave soon. What this is , in my great wisdom here could be something like the site is on a oil field, hence the name Black lake, or whatever it is, is worth a lot of money to them totally clutching at straws here

AND, possibly The murderer from the past is still alive and is in on it too??

That's an interesting theory - who had the bottle of eyedrops in the first place? Recall someone giving them to Lippi to use in the first episode but who (Elin???)?

Loving the idea of the Black Lake being on an oilfield - that would make perfect sense. There's assuredly something big to be gained from driving 'those pesky kids' away

Wasn't there something a bit shifty about the initial conversation Johan had with his Dad? Wondering whether there's something additional he knows about the place/area that he's not let on to the others?
