A fuzzy flashback would be great, really cheesy. Maybe in black and white with the voices all echoey.

i can see it my minds eye - fuzzy, fuzzy fuzzy.. then an explanation as to why Phil thinks he murdered Jay's dad..( or whatever happened)
with a lot of shouting and Billy hiding in the shower.
