Is anyone watching this? The second landlord with his disgustingly extravagant lifestyle is making me so angry. The communal areas in his flats are horrific.

Older couple are arseholes but I do see their point about how dirty that two bed flat is. Not clean or safe enough for a baby.
Tenants have a responsibility to clean and baby proof their home.

this landlord couple are scum, no compassion, no empathy. They actually think this is a choice people make to be on benefits, it's not shitty luck, or lacking the psychopathy to use others lack as a means of making mone. Makes me itch for a revolution. They do not deserve any of what they have and I'll have bet they haven't "worked all their lives" but been lucky on the generation lottery.

It is hard work that pays and benefits is the lazy option - why do people hate others who've done well for themselves?!

It's worse than the Soviet union. Heating and hot water there was constant and free.

DH is from Weston- it's a shit hole.

The older couple are very judgmental and lacking in empathy. The woman had easy access to home ownership with low property prices and able to live at home and save up- not options available to their tenants.

This it was only constant in the heating season which was mid-November till mid-April. I am also pretty sure that it wasn't free.

8 hours heating won't go far in the winter.

They are not very approachable, I can understand why they are worried about kicking up a fuss about the heating not working.

The younger landlord has called his own income passive. I don't hate landlords, I've had great ones. It does piss me off when people buy houses and make hundreds of thousands a year off people at the complete opposite end of society to them and then patronise and belittle then.

I think that's so bad that you can't control the heating. I think that's awful! Can't even understand it

He (Phil) keeps banging on about people on benefits and not bothering to work when his tenant was off sick with a back injury and so desperate to get back to work he's gone back against doctor's advice.

Christian bloke has an odd lack of Christian values about him - all about 'eww slugs, glad I don't have to live here for longer than a week' - how about 'I'm so ashamed I've been making other people live in these conditions'??

None of them seem able to grasp that tenants might not be keen to make a fuss about things, or why that might be,

Full disclosure - I'm a landlord (lady, technically) but I am pleased to say that I'm nothing like these people.
