Everything that is happening is all Lee and Whitney's fault. With her buying all that shit for her wedding and then when she found out about the robbery she didn't even tell Mick or anyone else. She didn't attempt to get a job OUTSIDE the pub to help pay the debts. She wanted a flat when Linda didn't want them to move out. she should've had a small idea about the state of their finances. And now she's acting all hard done by. Yes, Lee was an arsehole aswell but she's to blame too. And now she's trying to move in on mick. What a cow. Linda needs to come back.

The80sweregreat · 25/05/2017 15:02

hate, i suppose it can be traced back to last november and Whitney's 'i want' attitude but Lee did also lie to her about his job, made it sound as if he were running the country rather than a call centre minimum wage type job and encouraged it all in a way as well. i agree she should have fessed up about the robbery and her moving in on Mock isnt good either, but she isnt completely to blame, she is a damaged woman too from previous bad things thats happened to her.
Mock needs to keep it in his pants and not encourage her - men in soaps rarely do the right thing so not holding my breath.

youarenotkiddingme · 25/05/2017 15:55

Actually EE could take it a good way and show Whit inappropriate behaviour towards her FIL is because of her blurred lines as a child with father figures.

Justanothersingledoutnumber · 25/05/2017 15:57

yes they COULD but i'm not sure the writers have the ability to do that.

The80sweregreat · 25/05/2017 16:14

i couldnt imagine Mick in real life having anything to do with Whitney ( as in an affair) but they also like changing people's personalities as well, so it might happen.
where Whitney will go to live if L throws her out is anyones guess as well. she doesnt have any family left on the square - lily is her niece but she isnt close to Stacey. The Beales are full up with grumpy Steve and co. She might end up on the streets!

HateSummer · 25/05/2017 16:28

yes they COULD but i'm not sure the writers have the ability to do that.
Yes! Agree!

She might end up on the streets!
Oh god please no! Denise is bad enough atm. Imagine how they'd write whit's story!

MrsBotox · 25/05/2017 16:52

Linda will absolutely fillet Whit if she lays a tallon on Mick. Mick will be forgiven because he's a Man and Hard plus he's Angry - always a good excuse for acting like an arsehole.
There's the potential for a whole new spin-off series - like Kat and Alf - about Whitney after she gets thrown out of pub. They could call it Whit's End.

The80sweregreat · 25/05/2017 16:58

Whits end!! brilliant - so funny.

Her and Dee could pair up and do a double act - who can have the most social problems in one episode - they might end up like the odd couple!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 25/05/2017 17:03

Whit's End. Brilliant.

Her blurred lines with father figures as a child would put put an interesting spin on the Mickney storyline. At the moment it's just a bit odd, especially with Whit wailing "You left me" at Mick every 5 minutes.

The80sweregreat · 25/05/2017 17:19

I am Whit:

Whitney Dean finds herself homeless and nail less following an altercation at the Queen Victoria public house last night,

' I like.. errr.. well, slept with my ex father in law' she wails, her big eyes filling up as relives the moment Lee's mum found her in bed with her husband Mick Carter. Without a false nail ( or indeed glue ) to her name she was thrown out of her temporary home - her clothes spilling out of the upstairs window whilst Johnny looked on blankly from behind the screen of his laptop. Mick tried to save her, but Linda is furious ' sling your 'ook, you nasty horrible cow and never come back' before slapping Mick round the face and taking to her bed.
Night closes in - Whitney has found an old wool hat that once belonged to Ian Beale when he was having a breakdown ( for a few days) She has stolen a few plastic carrier bags from the mini mart and is now seen on Arthur Fowler's bench - homeless, penniless and without a frilly knicker to her name.
What will become of one of Soaps more tragic characters?

youarenotkiddingme · 25/05/2017 17:33

Whits end! Smile

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 25/05/2017 17:37

Clothes and bags are always thrown out of upstairs windows. It's EE law. Grin

Cary2012 · 25/05/2017 18:11

Love it 80s! Grin

The80sweregreat · 25/05/2017 18:17

Thank you, i clearly need a life.
Redwater on tonight too.

Optimist1 · 25/05/2017 20:03

More Sage Strangers offering advice this evening (Jeff at the diabetes meeting), and another off-Square location (the prison). It does seem to have become a pattern, doesn't it?

I did think they did Honey and Billy's party well, though - it was much more like a real party than the usual soap depiction. The little groups of people chatting about different things and mingling seemed very realistic. Shame about the carpet, though!

MissWimpyDimple · 25/05/2017 20:39

Were we meant to know how the bloke in prison is? I recognise him but not sure if it's from something else?

Also, thought Josh was the boss. So who was the bloke in the posh car on the square? And how are they connected to the bloke in prison?!?!?

I'm soooooo bloody confused

Ariawyn · 25/05/2017 20:48

when will they end the stupid Lauren is the Canary Wharf Saviour? and stop pretending that whatever his name is (cant even remember) is even interesting...

The80sweregreat · 25/05/2017 21:12

misswimpy, Mr Big ( Alan sugar type in the flash car) - we first saw him on bus crash day. Max went to visit him at the shard. He is behind Max selling on the freehold for the pub and is behind all the Max wheeler dealing.
I assume that little ' mr big' in prison is connected to him in some way.
Josh,) Clarke kent,) is Max's boss, although they are rarely seen together in the same office. I think that Mr Big is also related to Josh,(but that is just my opinion. ) they all know each other though. Fiona is also part of the gang ( the woman who sorts out the Vic;s finances)
Nobody knows why they have 'plans' for Albert square = Max is just getting revenge on people that doubted that he was innocent of Lucy/s murder - so far he has left Ian and Jane alone. I assume he was in a prison cell with the new man he went to see. its very complicated.

iknowimcoming · 25/05/2017 21:12

Lovely to see Pam tonight, the rest was more tosh imo .........

The80sweregreat · 25/05/2017 21:13

Yes, Pam knocks spots off the others in acting terms, so natural with the kids and just a lovely person.
Dont invite Ben anywhere though Pam, he is a murderer.

woodhill · 25/05/2017 21:33

Isn't Stephen a bore, why are they living at Ian's?

The80sweregreat · 25/05/2017 21:35

Woodhill, no other person would put up with them!,

Akire · 25/05/2017 22:06

Pam is just so believable as the nice auntie. wish she could come back.
Thought big guy in car looked related to Clark Kent (josh) didn't he. I mean Clark can't run the entire business at like 25.

Goodness what Lauren pretends to do all day. How long can it take to put some house shots up on a website? And no one drives car into there and out again it's always quicker on the tube!!

I thought I regonise s bloke from the diet club but Ian didn't see too. Maybe they filmed them in the wrong order.

Are we supposed to wait until Mik falls apart into the caring arms of Whit?

HateSummer · 25/05/2017 22:21

80's that's brilliant!!

Today's rhyme of the episode award goes to Clark Kent:

"Winner winner sushi dinner!!".....Wtaf?!

I could tell today's public message theme was diabetes. Even poor old Paul was remembered, when drinking affected his sugar levels Confused...diabetes can make you blind. Diabetes can make your toes fall off. Diabetes can leave you without legs. 🙄. Sorry to anyone with diabetes but really come on EE. Why are you doing this?

HateSummer · 25/05/2017 22:22

Whit's end is a brilliant name btw!
