The new store was a bit ' are you being served' which wendy richards ( pauline fowler) was in for years as a sexy Ms Brahms.

Akire, thats true, i would be out for ages trying to find my size ( never easy) and would also have to borrow a shaver/ razor blade for hairy legs etc. She bought that dress in no time at all. there are a few shops around canary wharf i think, but that was impressive.

I cant get over Mock's attitude to the freehold selling - it does appear now that LInda did know about it and agreed it all with Shirley - he wasnt around and they had piles of debts and sicky dogs and hardly any roof left, not to mention a death too! What were they meant to do?
Mock was the same with his kids - the minute there was a problem he would start shouting, throwing things etc. He needs to blooming well grow up a bit!

Jane's character has changed, she's like a diluted version of her old self. Although always loyal I'm sure I remember her being feisty.

I don't care about Denise anymore, and give less of a stuff about who has Maffew as his dad calls him.

Maffew! Yes, Chaz's accent is very odd at times. He also doesnt look as if he really wants him either!

Things that I think about now the actual storylines are shit:

What is up with Lauren's dress sense? She looks like she's choosing her clothes from the rail M&S rejected as being too frumpy.

How is Josh so high-powered and what does he actually do? If I'd known that the Lauren/Josh collective IQ was all it took to be successful in Canary Wharf, I'd have got a job there.

Why is Denise doing English Lit and not English Lang, which is generally regarded as the more useful GCSE, if you're only going to have one.

Why is no-one shagging Denise's tutor, easily the hottest bloke on the square?

What was the point of recasting Johnny? Lady Di has actually had more storylines in her own right than he has.

What does it tell you about this programme that the most excited I've been this week when watching was when I realised that Shaki has cut his ridiculous hair?

Becoming suddenly disabled would possibly leave you as a diluted version of yourself though. I feel like they've at least got that right with Jane. She's having to adjust and rely on others in ways she never thought about before.
