Re Charlie's bruising, I saw pics on Twitter of the make-up process on Holby City after Dom fell down the stairs and they use prosthetics to make the swelling. It does look really realistic.

Is it realistic the younger woman with the children would have been sent away empty handed from the food bank? Forgive my naivety; I guess there's no unlimited supply but a desperate woman surely they could pop a few things in a bag for her?

I'm not sure if the writers and producers are deliberately trying to muddy the waters here about food bank users, but it's getting on my nerves.

Blue - without a voucher the food bank wouldn't give her supplies, but they would certainly give her advice about where to get a voucher (and were doing so when Denise was giving her food to them).

Food bank would have sorted out the woman with kids they would not have sent her away they would needed to have sorted her out a voucher though, i know our foodbank only allows 6 visits a year but won't turn people away.

I think that if the Denise story isnt resolved soon people will start switching off - it was all done to re introduce Cora too i think.
Its very irritating and there is no way Dee wouldnt have asked Kim or Kush for help/.

You'd think that Denise would "check in" on dot. She'd probably get fed without having to ask and dot would probably be glad of the company now Abbie has moved out.

In such a close knit community, with family on her doorstep, Dee would have found someone to go to for a hot meal and a cup of tea.
Its more realistic if you dont know anybody or new to an area or dont have any family at all. All of which isnt the case. even shirley would have helped her out i'm sure.
I am guessing here that Danny Dyer had the no cheating clause , then he had to have time off, so it was a bit of a deal breaker in order for him to come back. Might be a red herring and they might not go ahead with any thing ( but linda might still be suspicious) but whatever happens i bet it wont be very nice. I was going to write that there are not many happy couples, but theres kim and honey and jane, so thats not true really!

For all Mick's failings his loyalty to Linda up to now has been a redeeming feature as far as I'm concerned. If he doesn't resist temptation this time he'll be on my Beyond the Pale List (with Abi, Sharon, Ben, Jack and others).

optimist, i hope that Mock is maybe tempted, but refuses those big eyes and frilly knickers! A lesson in morals - something soaps are short on usually.
i miss ole Phillip too, he has some funny lines sometimes. I bet he has joined the mafia over there and will come back being chased by dodgy looking Italian sorts ( or opens an Italian restaurant)
