The casting director needs to be fired. I know the actress who plays Louise is 19 (and looks it) and it's pretty clear that the person who's playing 15 year old Travis is 19-21.

Why is the Beales house immaculate. All Stephen does is sit on the sofa. Wouldn't Jane give him a list of jobs. I know I would. How come he has got time to sit following Lauren. Where is Louis and all the mess. Grrr

woodhill, children and babies are different in soapland. Babies and toddlers spend all day, evening and night asleep, alone, with only a baby monitor on an immaculate shelf identifying their presence. No piles of clothes in a never empty ironing basket. No washing machines constantly washing their clothes. No lego painfully stood on, no books, toys, bottles, nappies laying about.

Older children spend all their time silently in their rooms.

Occasionally a baby will appear wheeled around in a buggy, which is never in a hallway once baby is back home. No highchairs, no bouncers in doorways, no playpens, nothing.

The scriptwriter occasionally rectifies this, and a small group are spotted, colouring or painting. Where are all these things kept? They are put in an invisible cupboard or box, as soon as the children disappear silently back to their rooms, for another six months.

Louis is indeed a perfect example of this, clouded in an invisibility cloak, along with all his 'stuff' that J K Rowling would be proud of.

I wonder where Arthur and lily are half the time.

Another cringeworthy episode. So many off set scenes. They're not needed. I remember when they only used to go off set for interesting big storylines. Now it's every 2 mins.
I thought GCSEs were over, so why is that travis still going to school? Isn't he 16?

Yeah, you're right woodhill, it's not just kids clutter that is shrouded in an invisibility cloak, there's rarely signs of usual clutter around, even though I try and keep things tidy, you can't live like they do, there's always some stuff lying around. Perhaps they put it all in the overflowing bins...and do any of them have gardens? Probably not, hence the daft allotment.

Perhaps a giant cupboard where the characters and stuff go when they are not in episode as in most soaps they exist in parallel universes. e.g. The Vic

I think Max has always hated Jack as he was Jim's favourite son. Jim shut Max in a coffin once aswell and always picked on him.
He's probably taking revenge on everyone who's ever hurt him.

Oh yes and the thing about Jack stealing the war medals and Max getting blamed. Fair enough. Hope he only spares Stacey and Martin!
