All charlie needs to do if he's got a phone contract is report the phone stolen. Get it blocked and then get a new one with the same number. There is no point in breaking a phone. They can also communicate via email etc...

I agree, the whole handing over Matthew would have been a more gradual process with him visiting Ireland for a few visits, firstly with Jack, to settle him in. Jack surely would have snooped a bit by putting Charlie's address into Google at least. I thought Jack used to be a copper?

Yes toys and mess are only used to demonstrate to the stupid viewers when someone is struggling i.e. Jack, also agree re Louise's school skirt - bloody ridiculous, it then Madison's and the other one never seem to wear proper uniform either. Are there honestly schools that allow that? My dc's headmaster would have an actual heart attack at Louise's skirt!

I haven't seen EE for the past 3 weeks (I usually watch it on CatchUp on a Thursday night so I'm lagging behind , but I have missed the first week then just CBA with the others)

I think the new family debut this week, hoping it perks the show up. It's been so shit.

From the BBC advert, it looks like a family from Shameless is moving to the Square. The show has an entirely different feel to it now and the addition of the Gallagher type family is going to make it even stranger.

The only realistic thing about them from trailer is that the council are moving them into a tiny flat, there seems to be least 4 of them so not
sure how that's going work. Meanwhile Dot is in her 3/4 bed all by herself and no bedroom tax!

The mum is quite well known just can't place what else she's been in at the moment.
