Danny Dyer's acting was so bad he made Linda Henry cry.

nancy75 · 30/05/2017 20:18

The Dee story is ridiculous, she wants more than her little life, so she took 1 GCSE, kids all over the country take 11 GCSEs - taking 1 hardly makes her the next best thing to Einstein. What doors is she expecting her 1 GCSE to open?

The80sweregreat · 30/05/2017 20:22

Dee is getting me down now.
Dont care about Mock and his issues.

LineysSummer · 30/05/2017 20:32

Dee's story is very misleading, I think. No Maths, no Eng Lang, but I reckon she's going to get offered a place at Boffin College Poncebridge by her GCSE tutor who knows the College Master because they did their ground-breaking theses there on Coleridge's early nature imagery and Byron's innovative use of assonance.

Educating Dee-Rita here we come.

Akire · 30/05/2017 20:32

The whole Linda thing is bizzaee surely they could pretend she's there few hours a week and or bringing Ollie? If her mum is that ill she needs care not for her daughter to spend her son childhood with him never seeing his son. No reason why Ollie couldn't spend a week at each given there still 3 adults running the pub.

Surely once he got over shock he can see that the bank woulnt led them money, the kitchen floor would have also fallen in by now and the dog probable dead. Not mention his credit card bills. There was no other option short of selling up altogether.

Akire · 30/05/2017 20:34

Even if dee could do an access course come September it's huge jump from 1 GCSE to 3 a levels and she still need at least very Gd point time job to keep her going. Then 2years later she can get herself into what 40k of debt in doing a degree

Ariawyn · 30/05/2017 20:58

Another food-gasm for dee

Ariawyn · 30/05/2017 21:14

Oh ffs Dee
I used to really like her character, they've made a right fucking mess

southeastdweller · 30/05/2017 21:24

It's as if they're re-writing Mick's character - kissing Whitney (twice) and turning on Linda Confused

iknowimcoming · 30/05/2017 21:32

It was so dull I noticed two new fireplaces - one at Ian's and 1 at the vic, tbh they may have been there before but I may not have noticed them when the actual characters/storylines were more interesting than the set Hmm

Akire · 30/05/2017 22:03

I thought Dee living room looked very swish and nearly decorated too, wallpaper and cushions.

nancy75 · 30/05/2017 22:04

I thought Dee's house had been decorated, was it a new sofa?

Akire · 30/05/2017 22:27

Either sofa or wallpaper and new rug and cushions. Looked very plump sofa. I hope Patrick's going rein it in at the pub now, no more what £5 on a shot of whiskey

BlueThursday · 30/05/2017 22:33

Anyone else notice Billy and Honeys love of Sade?

Heard Smooth Operator at their party and then again tonight!

nancy75 · 30/05/2017 22:49

That's probably Billy's idea of romantic, Sade & a funeral outfit, who could resist

Theycalledmethewildrose · 30/05/2017 23:15

Lauren is feeling queasy presumably pregnant as Steven and herself seem to have sex every morning and night. She will deny being pregnant and as Steven is tracking her phone he will see her going to an abortion clinic? Cue potential breakdown of their relationship and she will run into Josh's arms?

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 30/05/2017 23:18

Danny Dyer's acting was so bad he made Linda Henry cry

She kicks his arse at acting doesn't she? I she's getting 400k

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 30/05/2017 23:19

*doubt she's getting 400k

Choccywoccyhooha · 31/05/2017 01:11

I am finding it vaguely amusing that Dire got sent off to sort himself and his drinking out, only to have to come back to work and act out hitting the whiskey bottle first thing in the morning and slurring his words. "I'm a mess Muvva." No shit mate, no shit.

Choccywoccyhooha · 31/05/2017 01:13

On the subject of DD. My favourite Twitter moment has to be some guy mocking him for going from films to "doing Eastenders." DD's reply "I'm not doing Eastenders, i'm smashing it."
Poor deluded soul.

Cary2012 · 31/05/2017 07:30

Can't believe Dire Danny gets 4 'undred graaand! They're 'aving a bubble, paying him that. Cor, I don't get much more than that teaching Wink

And Dee's I GCSE that she might bag is really over inflated like we've said before. If 16 year olds are expected to gain half a dozen or more, what Holy Grail does she expect to embark on with her one? In the real world you need a decent pass in English and Maths to get on most college courses, and sixth form at our school requires good grades. I teach mainly Lit, but we all acknowledge that English Lang is the most useful of the two.

Yes, by the Autumn we will be watching Educating Dee-Rita, with her ice-cream buying tutor egging her on. Yawnsville Arizona.

The80sweregreat · 31/05/2017 07:44

Teachers would actually deserve 400k a year , a washed up ex film 'star ' playing himself deserves £400 a month, thats being generous!
I dont know who i am..indeed. We do.
Did anyone watch Broken with Anna Friel last night? Similar story to Denise with swearing !

Optimist1 · 31/05/2017 07:50

Yes, The80s, I was watching Broken thinking "it's amazing these food banks stay in business, given how many people reject them". Unexpected delight to see Adrian Dunbar (aka Noble Ted from Line of Duty) in it, though!

Back to EE, though - I'm finding Billy and Honey's lifestyle rather sweet. Their fortunes have really improved and I hope that doesn't mean the scriptwriters have Something Bad in store for them.

The80sweregreat · 31/05/2017 07:56

Yes, foodbanks are getting a pasting. They are needed!
I cant see Honey n Billy being 'appy for long , tis not allowed.
The new woman was a breath of fresh air eh? More words of wisdom about duvets. How did i survive kids without the wife around to advise me on childcare.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 31/05/2017 08:07

Omg. That's why new woman is here. To teach us housekeeping. First diabetes now dust. She can feck off.
