Looking forward to watching this tonight. Feel it might be one to watch with your teenagers..

OP posts:
WayfaringStranger · 17/05/2017 21:30

I thought ruby and amber had been removed from their mum by children's services?

Childrenofthestones · 17/05/2017 21:30

There you have it.
It was last year when I cut and pasted it. I think you can see why the MSM are trying to avoid collecting the list on their sites. The same reason they avoided reporting what was going on until they had to.

TizzyDongue · 17/05/2017 21:33

Disturbing. Truly disturbing Childrenofthestones

I can't recall WayfaringStranger, I don't think they were - but children can go in and out of care.

colouringinagain · 17/05/2017 21:33

Anyone watching tonight?

WoodPigeonInFlight · 17/05/2017 21:34

Thank you for posting that information Childrenofthestones

BelleTheSheepdog · 17/05/2017 21:35

It is staggering.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 17/05/2017 21:35

Yes , it's difficult again.
There are cases almost daily in the Crown Court lists . Frighteningly common .

HelenaDove · 17/05/2017 21:35

Those poor girls We do have a major problem with classism in this country. That policemans remark "a family like the Bowens" is a demonstration of that kind of attitude.

Jill Halfpenny is in this drama. She also voices some of the anti benefits propaganda programmes.

TizzyDongue · 17/05/2017 21:36

I'm watching.

KenDoddsDadsDog you might have called cunt on Maggie too early!

WayfaringStranger · 17/05/2017 21:39

Tizzy thanks but I meant that I thought they were living in that house with their cousin because they ha been removed from their mum. Obviously I was mistaken.

RoseandVioletCreams · 17/05/2017 21:40

did anyone actually read any of those comments made by the perps on that long list?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 17/05/2017 21:40

I think I did 😳

colouringinagain · 17/05/2017 21:41

So so so sad 😔

colouringinagain · 17/05/2017 21:43

All these agencies that don't talk to each other. Of course she's drinking, she's just relived multiple rapes 😢😢😢

Imaystillbedrunk · 17/05/2017 21:43

Those poor girls. Let down by the system. I'm so fucking angry

HelenaDove · 17/05/2017 21:44

NO MAGGIE she is not responsible for what may happen to others.

TizzyDongue · 17/05/2017 21:45

WayfaringStranger I can recall that the two girls were at their cousin's a lot, but i dont think it was because they were in care. They used to live in the area but moved - is say the mum was just lax in her parenting so was okay with the girls going to the cousin's house

Ineedagoodusername · 17/05/2017 21:50

Helenadove agree. Only the men are responsible.

Tiredemma · 17/05/2017 21:53

This is harrowing

Childrenofthestones · 17/05/2017 21:54

One thing that never gets talked about is of all the cases where the many children that were transported around the country to be prostituted, only the men in the gangs have been charged. None of the hundreds if not thousands of men from their community, many of them with kids of their own, that paid to rape these girls have ever been traced or charged.

catcatcatcat · 17/05/2017 21:57

I've found today's far more harrowing than yesterday's for some reason. It's just disgusting how this ever happened.

Nothing really to add to the discussion, but I felt I needed to get that out and say it to someone.

OhBlissOhJoy · 17/05/2017 21:57

Who is Ella's father? I assumed he was one of the rapists but she's a while blonde girl. Sorry if that's not acceptable to ask.

HelenaDove · 17/05/2017 21:58

I havent watched part 1

RoseandVioletCreams · 17/05/2017 21:58

“Outside court the men’s families waved placards claiming a miscarriage of justice.”

Judge: “defendants treated the proceedings with contempt and arrogance; insolent and disrespectful”

Judge: “Not one of the defendants has uttered a single word or sentiment of remorse… the victim was systematically abused … by men who knew each other and exchanged their experiences with each other.”

His Muslim education taught him a woman was “no more worthy than a lollipop dropped on the ground

“Psychological damage in this case is about as bad as it gets …“and not one of you has shown the slightest remorse for what you did.”

The court heard that the girls had been taunted and insulted by friends and family of the defendants since coming forward, including being bombarded by obscene messages, called sluts, white trash, racist.
• Nelson 2010

“Abuser laughed as his sentence was passed”

“Predatory behaviour … You lied and took no responsibility. Your imam is entirely wrong when he says you have shown remorse – you have not.

. One convicted man, who pulled one victim’shair and called her a “white bitch” taunted her in 2014 after his release

Childrenofthestones · 17/05/2017 21:58

It is still going on
