Well done Sara Rowbotham for doing this and keeping track of the perpetrators. You should be given the highest award in the land and at least a place in the House of Lords.

What a harrowing case. And this is just three girls, three of thousands used and abused in this way. Horrific. But I will watch because this needs to be told and needs to be listened to and needs to be never forgotten.

This article discusses that whilst white men most certainly do groom and exploit young girls, the do so alone and it is mostly Asian Muslims that act in a group.

Sad fact is white men do groom and sexually exploit young girls. Many paedophiles are white. In truth when the perpetrator is white their race or religion aren't a factor.

Most paedophiles who are sentenced and jailed are white origin. Gangs who are jailed tend to be of other colour origins.

Regarding white paedophiles, there is a collusion of course, because everyone knows there is something going on, but they ignore it because the person doing it is of high standing and/or well liked.

The converse happens in collaborative abuse involving communities of colour. A cabal of men are doing it, but no one is any the wiser.

In other words, one is in the open, but ignored and the other is in secret and ignored.

The most telling observation though is that those being abuse, mainly young girls, are not believed - that's a shocking testament and legacy.

Anyone know if this is an issue in other european countries? I presume it is. It's just we have such a class divide here. The lower working classes can be easily written off as 'scum'. I found is so disturbing that although they saw them as 'boyfriends' they were still putting up with being treated so badly. They have that little self worth and self esteem.

Taunton court. Victim 15 yo/Abuser 24 yo, 5 years jail for child abduction and sexual activity with a child. Denied abducting a child after he ignored an order made by police banning him from having any contact with the girl. The girl was questioned by police in July 2014 after she turned up at school with a ‘black eye’. Abuser claimed the girl was ‘pestering’ him. Judge: “She was a vulnerable girl … Your interest in her was for your own sexual gratification and you chose to abuse her.”

Note on Keighley 2016:On the basis of 2011 census data, one in every 250 Keighley Muslim men of working age were in the dock for this one rape case. On 3 March 2016Keighley Central councillor Khadim Hussain said there are 80-90 more cases in the pipeline. On 26 May 2016 there were said to be 261 suspects being investigated in 220 cases in Keighley and Bradford involving 188 girls, but the proportion of suspects who are Muslims was not stated.

Note on Rotherham: According to Andrew Norfolk in The Times on 24 February 2016, “The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has begun 55 investigations into alleged police misconduct linked to Rotherham child sex crimes. It has received complaints against 92 named officers.An investigation into all past sex grooming cases in the town, begun in June and led by the National Crime Agency, has identified more than 300 suspects and 9,000 lines of inquiry.” According to the 2011 census, there were around 3,000 Muslim men of working age in Rotherham. If 300 of these are suspects, that’s one in every tenRotherham Muslim men of working age who are police suspects.
