I'm really looking forward to the new series tomorrow! Just watched the last two of the first series - I'll be interested to see how it pans out, as I'm not too sure how it will work 'outside' of the car....! It's one of the few comedy shows that makes me laugh, and it's got a lovely 'gentle' feel to it (or maybe I'm just getting a bit old and soppy....)

We watched the final 3 today and I'm not happy , nearly peed myself watching episode 3 , hilarious .

I know! Seriously I felt a wave of anger at being left like that. I was shouting at the telly "You're done? ?? What do you mean you're done??? You're NOT DONE!"

spoilers Oh. I always have subtitles (I know) and his nan said: are you done? And I was sure he replied "yeah i'm dumb"
So much for closed captions. But I just listened to it again 3x and am still hearing 'dumb' not 'done'. Gutted she missed the radio request.

I just binge watched all 4 episodes, I've been sat laughing at the tv on my own and I'll have to watch the last 3 again tomorrow because I promised DH I would wait and watch it with him.
There has to be a Christmas special (8 months though)

Hand jobs?! No but my favourite was the sign to the Shaun Ryder recovery centre.

That monkey in the back seat had my DH and I roaring with laughter, Elsie taking a horse piss was also a highlight!

I loved the Wigan/pies jokes!

Ending was great, realistic.

We watched ep 2 (twice). So damn funny.

I binge watched all 4, thought ep 1 was very good with her walking and him driving, ep 2 annoyed me, didn't find it very funny, ep 3 I couldn't stop laughing and ep 4 made me cry :(

Loved the MN references and all the little things in the background.

We need more episodes now.

I loved Guy Garvey too.

I'm kind of hoping that series 3/Christmas special will be a "Sliding Doors" type episode where Kayleigh stays in the car for a minute longer...., or at least where the taxi driver is playing Forever FM.

Episode 2 started off funny, but then irritated me, it went on too long, which was the point , i think. It made it more realistic. i've been in the position of taking people home after late night out- and them being super drunk and rambly, and taking you out of your way. It's really annoying.

Love car share! I'm really not happy about the ending either; did you notice the next door to his was for sale? I was hoping she would buy it! I know she moved into her sister because she couldn't afford her house so it was a long shot.
There is a Spotify playlist with the car share songs on will have to check if there's a series 2 one.

Watched whole series a second time to spot sign jokes etc. Did you see the bus with the Wellwoman advert and crossed out sign: "I feel brilliant like shit".

Love the acting and the facial expressions that show they fancy each other. They'd be mad not to be planning a Christmas special although there might be a big time gap, assuming series1&2 span a single Spring/Summer.
