Ha ha Choccy. Anyone else notice the ripped out earrings had their backs on. That's not very likely is it?

hackmum · 03/04/2017 20:23

I've also been thinking that Hana's kidnap was staged, though I don't know whether by TN or someone else.

I don't think TN's husband is the killer, or that TN is (I mean, I do think she killed Tim, but not the women).

At the moment, I"m inclined to think she's misguided about Michael Farmer rather than deliberately fitting him up - she thinks he's the killer, even though he's obviously not. I think she probably killed Tim in a struggle, though that is slightly implausible, given that she's obviously smaller and weaker.

Agree that the whole 30/13 business will be her undoing. The person who wrote 13 on the bag will remember quite clearly that he never wrote 30 and crossed it out.

I don't know why Tim had a balaclava, but I don't think he was the killer. Possibly because he was spying on people and doing his own private investigations.

By the way, in an increasingly implausible (though still enjoyable!) series, the thing that really baffles me is how Kate manages to keep on going undercover and no-one recognises her. This time the new SIO actually knows she's undercover - how long before he tells someone?

buggerthebotox · 03/04/2017 21:00

wowfudge yes, an eagle-eyed poster noticed the earrings with their backs still on some way upthread.

I'm surprised it hasn't cropped up in the programme. Tim must have noticed? Is it possible to tear off earrings and the backs remain intact?Hmm

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 03/04/2017 21:08

This is bonkers.

There is sewage, plastic rubbish, all sort of chemicals polluting the sea and plenty of humans who piss and shit there, but posters are worried because once they saw a dog do a poo by the sea?

Almost as good as the dog sitting out a peanut butter sandwich.

NoelHeadbands · 03/04/2017 21:09

Did I miss that episode?

TheSpottedZebra · 03/04/2017 21:10

Good point Char
Ted would never do a poo by the sea.
Arnott might, the dirty get.

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 03/04/2017 21:10

Oh dear.

Sorry! The dog threads tend to be almost as murderous as the Call of duty. Easily confused.

buggerthebotox · 03/04/2017 21:11

I think I missed that one, too!

NoelHeadbands · 03/04/2017 21:13

I'll thank you not to do your business there wee fella

TheSpottedZebra · 03/04/2017 21:19

Pic for Noel ' s post.

Yes, the ambulance bay is right by the sea. That, or Steve is a persistent offender.

Just caught up.

The sexism stuff - where is this going? It's all a bit blatant to the audience - going on about Pans People FFS. We're being told that AD is a dinosaur. But I can't imagine anything would happen there - I certainly can't see Kate putting in a complaint about being passed over in favour of Steve.

It did look like Steve was a bit uncomfortable. But he does have more experience so...

I don't know where this subplot is going.

buggerthebotox · 04/04/2017 08:17

Yes, the sexism is blatant, and being shoe-horned in all over the place. Suddenly Ted is all "wee girl", "darling" and referencing Pan's People. I can't remember this being a facet of his conversation before. All a bit obvious.

diddl · 04/04/2017 08:39

"I"m inclined to think she's misguided about Michael Farmer rather than deliberately fitting him up "

Yes I think so-she's got eveidence that points to him & is ignoring anything else?

"I think she probably killed Tim in a struggle,"

If he was crouching over her, maybe he was so shocked when she opened her eyes he stubbled back & hit his headGrin

Had Tim actually sent her the "biometric pic"?

Wasn't sure if he had or just made it appear that he had iyswim.

ElspethFlashman · 04/04/2017 09:05

No he had sent it to Steve. She wondered if it had come from Tim so she searched his laptop for the word Biometric and the file he had sent to them came up. And confirmed to her for the first time that the bloke she just killed was on A12s radar and she freaked cos she knew they'd be wondering if his murder was linked to his whistle blowing.

diddl · 04/04/2017 10:23

Ah.
When she was being interviewed, I had the impression that she should have known about the pic-that it was an email that Tim had sent her & she had ignored.

NotJanine · 04/04/2017 10:25

I think Tim only texted her. But she took his phone, so no one knows about that

CoolCarrie · 04/04/2017 10:43

I wish the beeb were repeating the episodes so far on Saturday nights so we can all have another watch!

randomer · 04/04/2017 11:17

this is not floating my boat as much as the other series. Bit obvious.

randomer · 04/04/2017 11:21

plus Kate's face seems to have got stuck and she should decide whether or not to grow out her layers.

TheHiphopopotamus · 04/04/2017 12:37

When she was being interviewed, I had the impression that she should have known about the pic-that it was an email that Tim had sent her & she had ignored

I thought that too. In the first episode, he kept trying to show her something but she kept fobbing him off and told him to email her it instead.

wowfudge · 04/04/2017 12:45

The thing he was trying to discuss with her was about carpet fibres and it pointed to the killer's trophies having been recently planted rather. She emailed forensics to look into that eventually.

TheHiphopopotamus · 04/04/2017 12:50

Ah right.

I need to watch both episodes again I think, see if I can spot any more 'evidence' Grin

Did anyone go on the website to have a look at the crime scene? I tried on Sunday but it wouldn't load. Too many others trying I guess.

diddl · 04/04/2017 13:39

So had Huntley had access to the biometric pic or not?

And if she hadn't, why did AC12 mention it?
