Nancy, dh was watching Taboo last night ( there is a thread) and the main guy, Delaney , came back from the dead! Its set in London too, so its a kind of grittier sweary EE! With bad teeth.
They have done nothing with Kaff really, a few bad scenes with Gavin, a bunk up with Buster, then reduced to selling Ian's sarnies! No point to her although she is 100 percent better than Nu Chelle and not said ONGAR once! Lol

Taboo was rubbish utter tosh lots of Tom Hardy face i was so dissapointed

General impression on mn was favourable to Taboo. I didnt know this Tom Hardy chap.
Just made me think it was 1800s Eastenders though!

I was a bit confused about Taboo. Felt like I was missing something but I don't think I was. It looked nice but was a bit thin. Will keep watching though. It was a bit gritty EE wasn't it?

Ho humming, Nancy is a very funny lady - i think she should become a stand up comedian. I went to a comedy night last month and nobody was as witty as she is on here and other telly threads!

I might watch Taboo on catch up later, not usually my cup of tea but it has had a few good reviews ( although some of your reviews are making me think I was right first time)

you are witty - I think that I convinced myself I wouldn't like Taboo as I don't normally like period dramas - the bits I did see seemed interesting but I was confused with the plot generally ( attention span of a gnat , unless its a book oddly enough)
I looked up Tom and amazed he has been in so many films - I liked the revenant though, not normally something I would watch but that was okay. didn't realise he won an Oscar for that. I am not a film person generally and hate most of the new ones around so I am behind with who is in and who isn't in the film world. The fact the main character is back from the dead did make me laugh though!

Two shocking things.... Martin and Stacey don't own a washing machine!!!! And Max got 2x2pints milk from shop. Even in house with 10people only see 1pint cartons going in fridge.
