A new thread for the new year Smile

Will the truth come out about how Roxy and Ronnie died yesterday?
Will the new exec producer lose his obsession with bins?
Has Max really forgiven Jane, Ian and Phil?
What secret does the new 'Chelle have?
Will Johnny Sausage learn to act?
Is Denise going to go through with the adoption?
What's going to happen with Lee?
What are your hopes for EE this year?

Come and discuss here!

Omg. Another new thread - sorry been rather lapse recently and busy in real world usually sick due to hg lol

Thanks for starting another one

Finally watched. I kinda knew someone would die due to someone blabbing on previous threads :(

Wasn't sure how tho

Sure a hotel would lock the pool up at night so that no drunk guests would go swimming /drown .......

Felt sorry for Lee. Yes mick obv cross with him for the robbery but that will push him over the edge .........

Good ending with clock striking and both floating. Black and white

Tho why on earth would honey /anyone knock on honeymoons suite at 11,30pm on their wedding night 🙄🙄

YY - surely the pool would be locked to prevent exactly this type of thing!

liney, I thought it was a bit Ophelia too!! ( they did do some beautiful paintings back then!)
A few EE storylines have been stolen from the Shakespeare over the years - the 3 witches were featured with Dirty Den's wife and Zoe and someone else ( memory isn't what it once was) with them all plotting his downfall. I can imagine Babe playing a great Lady Macbeth. Romeo and Juliet has probably been nicked too over the years. Ronnies life was one long misery fest - they really go through it on soaps.

Really enjoyed that episode!!! So sad 😭, was well written ! Not been a quality episode like that in ages . More like a dark drama then bog standard Enders episode

In real life of course, the pool would be securely bolted up - Honey would have taken care of the children and done the story for them - The hotel security would have told R and R to come inside and stop acting like teenagers. None of it would have happened!
Where was Billy?

We went ewww when they said that about Branning brothers.

Found you. I wonder if Jack will sue as the pool area should have been locked. He is going to have 3 kids to raise by himself and doesn't seem to have much of a job. I wonder if they show the hoops he will have to jump through with ss to keep Matthew?

Report
The80sweregreat · 02/01/2017 17:12

Will Charlie want Matthew back? How would Jack manage to keep him? He has a few bob from the flat sale and always seems ok for money ( will he inherit the gym? Is Ronnie insured?)

I hope the Branning brothers stock up with kleenex..scott maslin has to do grief now!

I did think Samantha womak looked lovely, but for the first half of the episode she was holding the train of the dress over her stomach, as if she was hiding a baby bump. I was convinced that the actress was pregnant, plus she always hears big cardis on the show that look like they are hiding something. But then in the end she dropped the dress and no bump Confused

Romeo & Juliet was covered with Leo & Demi. He thought she'd ODed after they ran away together so killed himself - the only non-dying-anyway suicide I know of on EE.

Lilaclily · 02/01/2017 17:15

I thought she was pregnant too, I didn't like the dress and veil at all, even more so now we know it killed her Sad

I had to Google leo and demi, don't remember them at All!

Oh yes, Jack will get millions in compo, for himself and the children. More Jack's Flats and Trust Funds all round. Extra nannies and social workers swooning. Glenda all starry eyed after some initial dramatics.

I was really disappointed in mick, he's normally so good with his kids and their misdemeanours :(

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 02/01/2017 17:25

Yes, Jack would get a nanny I would expect and possibly end up in bed with her. He seems to be loaded what with all his properties.

I thought Ronnie had Charlie bumped off ages ago? Confused

Scone Mick took ages to forgive Nancy for knocking Ollie over in his high chair. He didn't speak to her for weeks and said he couldn't look at her.
She was distraught.

How could jack sue them really? I suppose they should have locked the pool, but maybe they forced the door? ( one minute they were outside, then inside within minutes) those two always broke the rules after all. Ronnie was a murderer pre prince jacks return! A locked door wouldnt have floored her. It would be on cctv too maybe?
Who knows, but guessing he keeps the baby and stays on the square. The money he will save on not moving will help too! ( ongar isnt cheap) maybe pennys mum will appear and help out?

Report
MakeItStopNeville · 02/01/2017 17:30

I just couldnt get over Ronnie. You've been married like a billion times already, have murdered half the square, nicked your friend's baby and here you are, in your Kate ripoff wedding dress and all the square cheering you on.

And don't even get me started on the psychopathic sisterly relationship.

The80sweregreat · 02/01/2017 17:37

Make, soap characters chop and change like the wind. If i had murdered Carl White i would be doing time for years. Not swanning around fancy hotels being rebellious ( and she was going to Ongar too, lucky thing)
Mind you, i wouldnt fancy marrying jack the plank. He is a bore!

Deffo watching tonight. I can't see this episode being too graphic. I doubt we will see R&R bodies again. It will most likely be the hotel guests waking up to the discovery and then the news making its way back to the square. Que another cringey toast in the Vic from Mick. There will no doubt be scenes of Lee probably cowering somewhere amongst it all too.
